And here's the real issue. Most of you knuckleheads actually think the spring game is an exhibition. It never has been...until ESPN got involved. It's a culmination of the things they've been working on in spring PRACTICE...situational stuff. I doubt much time is spent on "let's run that play where the CB is completely outclassed".

He was obviously expecting to be able to call a play that he wanted to call. Good thing Les shut his arse down. How dare he?

Les has to get his arse trained before the season starts. Krags better get used to that shite.

deep pass = opening the playbook?

weve been through 3 years of "not opening the play" against bad teams. isnt it possible there just isnt much of a playbook?

Perhaps.

It was clearly something Miles didn't want on film.

Or maybe you guys are right. Miles just hates good plays. . .and winning. . .and playing more talented players

No, but the man who approves all the playcalling and has input in the playcalling still is. Good thing he has another scapegoat though.

This was referenced in the Advocate this morning. They come out after half and the first play is a 60 yard bomb to a wide open receiver. Do you think the coaches did this just to make the fans happy? Or was it a legit play by Mett and Boone?

IDK if it was scripted, but I think it was a walk on DB that got burned by Boone.

You are soooo right.

Miles hates offense. . .and good plays. . .and anyone NOT named Jefferson. . .and more talented players. . .and winning.

Miles is so awful. . .

Yes it was... The whole spring game was scripted by Hollywood producers in an attempt to discreetly keep hating LSU.

I know I'm coming out of left field with this one, but I'd be willing to bet he (the head corch) actually just wanted to work on things more likely to happen in real game situations. Call me crazy...but I thought that's what practice and scrimmage games were about.

you're a crazy man. Miles obviously just hates winning.

are your words not mine. I never said anything like that. Show me where I did say that? Ahhh, you can't can you?

Its obvious that when your argument falls apart you just attack posters and put words in their mouths. If thats what you need to do, then that's your issue.

This. I would rather see a bland Spring game than give Oregon film to go on.

I could agree with this. Definitely a vanilla offense all day which is expected and gladly accepted. Looking back at the play though, it was just a straight drop back and fly route. It wasn't a trick play or even play action.

I thought it was a double move, and the db bit outside.

So you agree that Miles plays the best players and likes good offensive plays?
