Shortly afer Miles was hired, he left the redskins
This is not corect. Saban did not announce he was leaving to go to Miami until December 26 in Orlando. By that time Florida had hired Meyers, SC had hired Spurrier, and no other top teir coaches were available. Remember Saban recommended Houston Nutt, I sure at the urging of his agent. Suffice it to say Saban screwed us when he left trying to get one of his agents, Larry Sextons, client hired at LSU. Just one ore reason to hate Saban.

aban had been a DC in the NFL before.
and has proved himself to be a great coach. and nfl GM's throughout the league wanted saban. Miles also coached in the NFL at dallas.

We made him the 3rd highest paid coach iirc.
we did but thought we still stole him.

I'm sure you did
I did. I was the only one of my friends that was pumped about the hire.

that was a well-coached football team last night, huh sammich?
It was a much better performance than the "Hep us, Hep us!! we can't score 1 Offensive point" 2003 LSU vs. Florida game. Zooked again..eh SloFlo?

Les Miles reminds me of Tommy Tubberville. He is average at best and will have to replace his staff constantly to keep one steap ahead of getting fired. He will eventually run out of assistants and will tank the program. It is just a matter of time.

we looked like a good team in 2003 before UF

Except Miles is 3-1 against Tubby. Saban wasn't..

Les is a Big 10 coach from Michigan. The Big 10 is slow, big and they run straight up the middle. They also get their asses handed to them when they play a fast, spread offense SEC team. We need an even trade for Rich Rodriguez.

Well, you've already got Saban's organ in your mouth. Why not just take that next step toward becoming the Bama fan you've always been?

LSU has not played Michigan. I've been to all 3 Ohio State games and the score is 1-1-1.

I've been saying it all year, lsu is a poorly coached team.

Sweetpea, LSU didn't go 7-5 in 2004
Thanks for posting, and proving the point I made much earlier.

Cant say he was the right choice!
2005-2006: 11-2 SEC Record: 7-1 Beat #9 Miami in Peach Bowl 40-3
2006-2007: 11-2 SEC Record: 6-2 Beat #11 Notre Dame in Sugar Bowl 40-14
2007-2008: 12-2 SEC Record: 6-2 Beat #2 Ohio State 38-24 in Championship Game......Oh, we won the SEC that year too.
2008-2009: 8-5 SEC Record: 3-5 Beat #14 Georgia Tech 38-3 in the Chik-fil-a Bowl.
2009-2010: 5-1 SEC Record: 3-1
47-12 Total Record as a Coach which if my math is correct is a 79.66% winning percentage.
So, I really dont think he is a qualified Coach.
Of course, he did play with "Sabans Team" there for a few years.... but since the coaches have nothing to do with it. He should have been fired long before this.
Its just funny to me how we are 5-1 and we loose one game to the #1 ranked Florida Gators and its time to Crucify Miles. And I will admit that I have some doubts about how the game was managed (or lack thereof) and we can always say "what if Lee would have played or why didnt he play Shep AT ALL!!" But hey..... thats why we are all getting paid to be the head coaches somewhere.
