didn't say anything like that.
I said that women are not better at fundamentals, not better at shooting, and not better at any part of the game really. I was also countering your claim that the women are better shooters. they are not.
what is entertaining is up to you. if you enjoy the game being played at a far lower level in basically every facet of the game, that's fine. I am trying to understand why, and I think I do, its because you are old. or a lesbian.

I am making a point here about flawed logic. again. people think the women must be better at fundamentals because they are not as athletic, as if they must make up for the lack of athleticism with superior skill. but they don't need to make up for anything, they simply can be worse at all those things.
if they played men and were competitive, they would need to be incredible shooters and passers etc to win to make up for the size and speed and athleticism. but they don't. they play vs women. they can win by being worse than men are at everything, which they do.

I am the biggest will wade fan on earth. I think he is the best coach of anything, in any sport. I wear mcneese gear when he was there, and now I wear NC st gear to LSU games as a show of support for wade.

I agree there is more energy in the PMAC for women. and that is fun.

congrats. but in general women's basketball fans skew older (game is slower and easier to follow for old brains) and more lesbian. LSU is a bit of an outlier because they are a perennial powerhouse and attract more fans than a typical team.

its not just the free throw advantage. I mentioned that because free throws are not defended so they are a purer shooting metric.
again, its also to do with defender size and athleticism, and ball size.
the women's rim is larger relative to the size of their ball. makes shooting easier. did you not know that the women use a smaller ball but the same size hoop?
do you think the LSU women could beat the LSU men? owing to superior fundmentals?

This was a fun game. Up 40 and still had 95% of the fans in the arena. I stayed to the end like the rest and was a good atmosphere. I enjoy the women’s games. This year’s team is fun because they are unselfish. Nice to see so much depth that contributes.

NCAA Mens 3P% this year is 34.1%, womens is 31%. Kind of a little more telling of the difference between men and women when you dont' cherry pick two teams, one who is elite in their sport and the other who's terrible.
You ever see a woman have to shoot with someone like this defending them?
40% of all shots in the WNBA are layups compared to 25% in the NBA. This is b/c women are too slow to defend and can't jump to block shots. The ball will always move faster than men and women, but men close out on defenders a lot quicker than women, and some are capable of recovering when beat and blocking a shot from behind.
The league average on all mid range jump shots in the nba is 43.5%, in the WNBA it is 39%
The league average on 3's for the nba is 36%, in the WNBA it's 34%, and they are using a smaller ball and shooting from closer.
Please shut up about women being better shooters than men with their smaller ball.

if you shrunk the men and made them slow as the women they would still win.

I have always liked watching the women play (since the 60's). The reason , I think, is I personally like women that are athletic and passionate. I like to see confident, independent women show passion in whatever they do. I 'm attracted to highly intelligent women with passion and a drive to succeed (most men are afraid of these type women). The women are not as physically gifted as men but the passion and competitiveness in the elite athletes is the same.
