for the record, when someone makes $4 mil per year, they don't get apologies from people who second guess the job they are doing...

Totally agree and Les's doesn't give a shite anyways what other people think about him. This is proven.
I think some owe Les an apology cause despite his decrepit offense over the last 2 years he has maintained a 77% winning percentage while squads with the same deficiencies have a 36% winning percentage.
In his 6 years he has proven that his 4th down strategy is calculated and he probably has one of the best 4th down conversion rates of any coach currently coaching. That is worth something.
Clock management aside, and some qb recruiting blunders, a BCS birth this year makes him worth every penny.

Yes. By all means. While we're at it let's give him a contract extension and pay raise too...I mean, since he's so fricking brilliant.
He coached a good game. He seems to run a decent program. That said, I wouldn't be surprised if he missed church this morning due to his utter ineptitude with clocks.
He has a lot of good qualities and a few severe shortcomings. I will not apologize for not ignoring these.

Les owes the LSU fans an apology! We held his arse to the fire and he finally showed yesterday something we can all be proud of. Crowton still needs to go but Les got his ticket punched to at least finish his contract! Great Team Win!

Agree. I still don't think we'll get to a BCSgame but if we do then he has earned his paycheck this year

So much so I'm often afraid of sticking up for him cause there are so many douchbags on this forum.
I have never been more happy after a game for an individual than I am now for JJ and LM.
