The transfer excuse can’t be used very long considering every team is having to reload from the portal every year.
Going to have to find a way to get the team ready for week 1 or start scheduling a week 0 game to get the nerves out.

LSU changed out the whole sheebang staff last year and one thing we lost in that shuffle was a few LSU standard facets of defense. We have been playing these mobile QBs for a long time and more often than not these mobile guys had their worst career days (see Johnny Football, Lamar Jackson, Jalen Hurts, etc...). The key is you do not let them out of the pocket. We lost containment and chased Travis all over the field with 300 lb linemen and he burned us time and time again. Result, he had a career best day.
