I think the lack of aggression by the OC was by far the biggest coaching failure. You can't play to not lose. He was predictable and played scared.

All of this.

Their defense was better. Their QB was better. Their WR were better. Their OL was only part that was equal or worse.

What specific "coaching" cost LSU the game?

don’t wait for a reasonable reply you asked the tricky question there lol
it ain't hard to answer that, because we all saw it.

The offense went away from the passing game that was very effective in the first half and tried to run the ball too much.

And the defense got too passive - particularly on the last two drives, and the last drive in particular, where we only rushed 3 and went soft.

That enough of an answer for you? Hell, all fans could see it.

How about whenever nus was 20 for 24 and we were in the lead, we decided to force the run. They were giving us the mid pass all game. And that was just fine because that would have won us the game. Yes coaching cost us the game. Don't be dim

Let's say we keep throwing the ball and Nuss throws a pick, then the retards here are screaming about how we should've tried to establish the run.

Fans really have no idea of the differences between bad coaching, bad execution, and just catching a bad break.

If Nuss gives it on an RPO on third down because of a bad read and the back gets stuffed, the majority of the fans here would complain about playcalling.

My favorite dumb take this week is how they need to be more "creative" in the run game.

Let's be honest, fans are lucky to see 50% of what happens on a football play.

So it's Nuss' fault the coaches decided to run because of an imaginary pick he didn't throw. Some of y'all just reach beyond measure trying to figure out how to blame players you irrationally dislike. And being more creative in the run game is coming from former players and media members who know wtf they are talking about unlike you.

Scripted. Anyone else ever seen 3x false starts ignored on a drive? Just asking because I've watched football for 30+ years, and I've never seen it not called. If the TE and RT are allowed to just go early , it helps. Saints Vs. Rams, LSU vs USC, the fix is in either way.

They played tough and made plays. Balls didn’t bounce our way. Nuss hits that pass in the flat we’re discussing other things more than likely. We have good players. We need them all to be great team players. And coaches need to adjust quicker and better. Game 1 losses stink but I feel better about the direction of the team after this loss.

That's the margin of error in this game, everyone here is on Cloud 9 if a simple completion is made.

Instead, we're raving about firing BK, how Nuss isn't the guy, sitting Lacy, etc

Honest question, how much did you know about USC’s roster before Sunday?

Meh, no reason if they really said that.

Anyone saying LSU needs to be "more creative" in the running game frankly doesn't know what they're talking about. I bet no one can tell you exactly how LSU should be "more creative" in the run game.

There's literal posts on this board describing how to be more creative in the running game.

There are also literal posts on this board calling for Nuss and Lacy to be benched.

I'm asking you, you seem to believe they should be more creative in the run game, what specifically would you like to see?

Pretty distinct difference between posts describing specifics of how we should be more creative running the ball vs irrational posts blaming players. If you want to ask someone ask someone who actually said that since I never did though for the record I agree with those who did, but I'm not an expert on play design to give you specifics.
