So Ell, you were giving me crap too about worrying about our hitting, yet you admit that we are not hitting and that Ibarra is not the same and Laird is struggling.....so it took you roughly 25 games to finally see it too.....yet you say our good hitters are mostly on the bench...(Fraley). I have never heard of a coach benching his best hitters.....explain please??

Laird isn't struggling anymore. Bregs is. You predicted that? I can't explain why Fraley is on the bench. Can you? What about Scivicque or Stevenson?
I'm making observations based on what I've seen. You were predicting trying to use last seasons numbers which, proven by the players I mentioned, often means nothing.

Did you leave your point out of this post? Because I don't see one.

Stevenson cape cod numbers suggested an improvement....Laird and Ibarra were seeing good pitches last year bc of Bregman, Katz and Jones...so predicing a slide for both was inevitable. Know baseball much?

He made a post early saying there will be a large drop off in run production. I disagreed. But I also predicted we would probably struggle early and this guy would come back boasting as if he knows what he's talking about. Called that one.

Fraley is not the best hitter by any means, sciv and stevenson are the most "proven" best hitters on the team right now, with bregman hopefully coming around soon.
Fraley will eventually make his way to the lineup, whenever they figure out that Chinea only needs to play on friday to catch for Nola, and Robertson doesn't need to be playing when you have a perfectly competent 2B(Hale) and 1B(Moore) with better batting aspects.
So again Fraley is not the best hitter, he is a very good unproven hitter, he has played very-limited and has shined during that time. Yes he should be playing, but thats another story in and of itself.
Laird is not turning out batting right now, but he still the best bunter and hit and run guy on the team I think. Ibarra is not doing a whole lot but he'll turn around like Laird and Bregs, he is a solid 3B with a decent bat.

I don't remember you predicting any of those things. Link?

You not only disagreed, you flat out made a mockery of my statements. When you do that, you damn right I come back. I debated with facts and reasoning why were going to struggle hitting the ball.....plain and simple.

The only thing he predicted is that 3 new starters wouldn't have the same amount of RBIs as Katz, Rhymes, and Jones combined for last year (big time step out on a limb right), and that the offense couldn't be considered good or productive because of that one fact.

I'm still making a mockery of your statement. It is well deserved.

What...?
Katz hit one last year.

I did not predict on TD but Stevenson made his adjustments and raked in Cape Cod.....and Laird and Ibarra saw good pitches last year bc of the big 4..(AB, Katz, Rymes and Jones). Ibarra and Laird saw good pitches last year bc of the gauntlet. This year they are not seeing good pitches and struggling. Easy call to make before the season dont you think?

Stats so far do not lie MOT.

I can understand the gauntlet idea, but Jones was not part of that gauntlet.
