What type of expectations? 6-7 to floor 10-2? That is ridiculous

You had Ed Orgeron for 6 of those losses and a WR at QB for the other 1. You also had a guy calling plays that had absolutely no business being in the booth.

You had a much needed roster turnover and revamp and you also bring in a top 5 college fb coach?

Sorry if I don’t find last year relevant to this year. I’m not saying they’ll go 10-2, but you shouldn’t even compare it to the end of last year.

All of this. Plus, add in the fact that in MOST games last year LSU was leading early on. A combination of the other team adjusting (and our dumb frick coaching staff not) and lack of conditioning caused most of the losses. It is already evident that the conditioning aspect is being addressed and rectified and with this coaching staff I am fully confident that in-game adjustments will actually happen now.

There is plenty of talent on this team. That talent is now being coached and conditioned like it should be. This season we are going to see a completely different team out there and I am damn excited to see it. 10 wins minimum, book it.

Why do you think Vegas has us at 7-5?

Why do you think Vegas had us at 33-1 odds to win the national championship in 2019? Why do you think they us at 12-1 odds to win the SEC that year? Why did they have us at 5.5 point underdog going into the Bama game? Why were we 10-3-2 against the Vegas spread that year? I mean if Vegas knows all, there must have been a good reason for all that, right?

Added new experienced players at every position. Also we have 4 capable QB’s And Kayshon is healthy. 10 wins is the floor.

Naive or just plain ignorant?

With CBK and all of the talent we have, I can easily see 9 or 10 wins.

So in zero way does last year impact the predictions of this year?

Maybe not zero but its pretty low. We're in the transfer portal era now, it's pretty much a completely different roster/coaching staff/culture than last year so how can you really make that many comparisons like you're claiming?

You started bringing up Vegas now. They predicted 7-5 yet your OP seems to think 8-4 is some out of this world prediction, you do know that's only a game difference right?

Lol please tell me you aren’t serious and are some opposing teams fan troll or just stirring shite up. You can’t actually be this dumb, can you?

If serious, then you need to stop watching football. Do you not remember our scholarship QB didn’t play because of his RS year? These aren’t brand new QBs we have. Two have been here for 2 or more years, both have played in big games and we have another that’s played in many huge games in another conference at a high level. We have another 5* QB who’s got enough talent to start this year if needed and he would do a decent job if so.

We’ve added RBs, WRs, OL, DL, LBs, CB’s, Safeties and even ST players. We have a completely new staff, strength coaches and a monster DL. It’s not hard to imagine that this team will improve quite a bit from last years broken arse team of quitters. 10-3 is very likely and 11-2 is possible. Please inform us all of which SEC out there on our schedule who has so much more talent and depth not to mention better staff than LSU does? Please, go right ahead! I’ll wait for your input.

And lost to Kansas State by 3 tds with a backup WR at QB, we also had like 30 scholarship players at that point. So I feel like we need to temper the expectations a little bit, 8-4 would be an incredible achievement

Look at it differently, and I’m usually somewhat pessimistic.

LSU managed to win 6 games with an incompetent (at best) coaching staff and half a roster.

Just having a new and competent coaching staff alone should result in 1-2 more wins.

7-5 would be a bit disappointing
8-4 is realistic
9-3 possible bit ahead of schedule
10-2 unlikely
