Weddings will never win a face off against an LSU game against any SEC competition or big OOC..

Perhaps I will point him to this thread and help him see his mistake.

tell him to have the game on at the reception. he gets married at 5, makes it there by a 6 p.m. kickoff.

check the other sec games that week but i'm pretty sure the tennessee game won't be the cbs, might be though.

South Endzone, split the uprights, 2nd level... 4 seats. I figured out of my 2G's I spent on tickets and TAF fees, the Tenn game is the 2nd best game of the year... so that game is probably worth about 500 bucks for 4 tickets...

Bama - 30%
Tenn - 25%
WVU - 15%
Ole Miss - 10%
MSU - 10%
other 2 - 10% total

My sister is planning a fall wedding. I made it clear up front that if she scheduled it on a LSU game I wouldn't be there. There's my answer.

DO what you think is best.

Choosing a wedding over an LSU football game is like choosing a Ford Pinto over a Mercedes.

He has 6 months to reschedule.
You cant change the date of the game, but he can explain the mistake to his fiance.

bandwagon fan if this is a hard choice. your friend fricked up, the game was set before his wedding so he has no excuse.

also look at it this way the girl has his balls so she will get tired of him in a year take half his shite and you can always make his next wedding.

You guys are all figs. Take a step back and think about the situation. I know he is an idiot for scheduling on a gameday, but its not your wedding and not your decision. You say this guy is a good friend, so I am sure he has been there for you when you needed him in the past. Now it is your turn to be there for him. It is one afternoon of your life, suck it up and go to the wedding- its called being an adult.

I'd go to the wedding if he's really that good of a friend. They make tvs and radios for a reason

According to the Rant, we're going to be turrball this season. Give me your tickets and be a good pal and go to the wedding. You won't miss a thing and your conscience will be clear.

It isn't even close. If he is indeed a friend, then you need to counsel him on things that are truly important. He has TONS of opportunity to pick another date for his wedding. If it is his fiance's choice, then she needs to be properly trained and educated, starting NOW. If not, you will lose this friend anyways over time, from allowing himself to be pussy-whipped by some skank that just does not understand what is important in life.

1. You must go to the game.

2. Attempt to educate the ignorant fiance'.

3. If that doesn't work, tell your friend to PIIHB big time and quit being such a pussy. The rest of his life's future choices depend on it.

I skipped my sister in law's wedding for the Bama game. The wife was pissed and her family pretty much disowned me but it was worth it even though we lost.
