(UPI)
while neither Georgia or LSU moved in poll, GA lost overall votes including their first place vote. LSU gained points(??) and kept a first place vote they had last week.

(AP) only top5 team picking up points this weekend was Oregon. Others lost points(LSU,PSU, Ohio St) or stayed pat - Miami.

The way the"geniuses"on the Scoreboard were sky-screamong last night, I was absolutely convinced LSU was going to fall all the way out of the rankings.

Color me shocked.

That’s when I knew they wouldn’t.

Mississippi State got screwed. How is Arizona State still ranked and Mississippi State isn't?

Because the Coaches poll is a stupid idea by the media. All of the coaches, ADs, and assistants are focused on their program’s game; they have no idea how other programs played.

Seems dramatic.

They beat 2 “ranked” teams from the “preseason” rankings. I’d say they’re a top 20 team right now. We’ll see how they look against Miami.

That’s not how rankings work in Week 2.

And that’s exactly why I said it perfectly highlights what’s wrong in college football

The rankings aren’t actually about what you have done on the field

It is later on in the season. If it was in week 2, you’d have overranked teams & huge overreactions.

There’s no way you really believe South Florida is a top 10 team in college football

The Oregon football program has been over ranked for so many years that you would think that their major benefactor was the Pope in Rome instead of a tennis shoe fetishist.

When has Oregon ever been thought of as Not Soft?
