Exactly. An undefeated top 5 team beat us by less than a TD when wewere hampered by an injured QB.
When Nuss heals and rips off 7 wins in a row; whose to say we dont rape Ole Miss in Atlanta and secure a bye. week in the playoffs?
I appreciate your optimism.

Doesn’t change anything I posted in my last comment. Georgia is nothing like LSU. Do you think Kelly could have gone into Knoxville and beat that team. Kelly can’t even coach his team to more than 60 yds rushing against a 3 man front
I also have bad feeling about the offense and losing to OM was pretty demoralizing but your points are not logic, just pessimism. Georgia fans are most certainly down after losing to a Bama team left for dead. For instance a thread on their forum is titled “Football Hell”

So rather than giving a "hampered" QB the rest he needs to "heal", the coaching staff chose to practice/play him vs SLU, which contributed him continuing to be hampered and, thus, losing to Ole Miss. I

If your premise is correct that LSU lost to Ole Miss because of a hampered QB, then wouldn't it be logical to assume that had the QB rested AHEAD of the Ole Miss game then LSU wouldn't have lost that game? So basically the coaching staff, by not resting the QB prior to the OM game, incurred an unnecessary loss as a result. Yet, there's faith that (1) the QB will miraculously heal over the bye week and (2) the coaching staff won't make any further dumb decisions, thus allowing LSU to rip off 7 wins in a row?

The bottom line is LSU is talented enough to be every team remaining on their schedule. But they aren't good enough to do so with this totally ineffective offensive approach. So we've hit an inflection point in the season. Either LSU's coaching staff adjusts their offensive approach, or they will incur 2, maybe 3 more losses.

We should’ve won that game had our coach not been so stubborn. That’s why people are so pissed. That should’ve easily been a W with a few tweaks, but no.

Ole Miss should have kicked LSU's arse. LSU's defense keep it from getting out of control with the turnovers in the red zone. Context man. It matters.

"Faith" is a strong word; it's more like "hope" at this point.

You are not wrong. I'm just a fan that hoping they get it right over the bye week.

Brian Kelly was 4-11 vs top 15 in 12 seasons at ND.
He's 2-6 at LSU.

If Ole Miss didn’t have 14 penalties to save LSU, they might have.

So it’s not logical to say that the Kelly led Tigers could not go into Knoxville this year and beat the Vols??? GTFOH!

im not rooting for more losses, but I can see what's coming. and it's not positive unless some drastic changes are made.

I would grade the defense as no better than competent. The offense is more or less an abject failure. Will be lucky to finish with a “winning” record. What a mess.

Because they were rightfully exhausted. The first two possessions were 3 and outs

Is our defense going somewhere? Regardless of how it was done, it was kept to a 5 point game. If the offense actually doesn't improve, I agree that we are not going to come close to doing what we hoped for from this team. I seriously doubt that we see zero improvement from this offense after what I'm sure has been a tense bye week at football ops.
