It’s not wrong to say we are about to become irrelevant. Next year we probably won’t even be ranked in the preseason 25. We’ll start the season by getting our teeth kicked in at Clemson. Probably go 8-4 or 7-5. Fight with Arkansas for who gets the Texas bowl. Reality is staring us in the face.

Because our 3rd string QB and 4th leading receiver jumped into the portal while our starting LT declared for the NFL draft like we knew he would 2 years ago? You're an idiot.

Daniels was steady, but not explosive. He put good numbers up at Liberty, because it was Liberty. He's not a deep threat, he's not going to juke you out of your shoes. And he was fighting an injury half the season just to see time.
He would be behind Hilton (who has speed to spare, and finally seemed to get over the jumps), Anderson (who emerged as a 'score from anywhere' threat), and Thomas, who has more quicks. And that's not even counting guys like Green, who will show out as a big target.
Kelly probably didn't throw him out, but he wasn't going to be the focus of the offense next year.

Well, panic if ya must, I guess. I'm not; I refuse to. This has happened every single year LSU hasn't won a title since 2003. That's a lot of panic.
We aren't the only ones who'll get bit in the arse by this "new" NIL. The truth is, we were already losing elite recruits in the past to big money, and we all know it. And we weren't alone.
But relax. The Money Whale Universities of the landscape can't sign all of them. LSU will still get theirs, as well.
Besides- life's too damn short to be a 24/7 blade-runner on the wants and whims of 18-20 y/o athletes.
