LSU won the SEC in 2019 with a 16-2 record. 9-0 on the road…which if you follow college basketball at all you realize is incredibly difficult at the major conference level. It was the best SEC performance since 1980. The team had the highest seed in the NCAAT since that 1980 team. They ultimately lost to #2 seed Michigan State led by one of the best tournament coaches in history. It’s not like the were “upset”. Particularly given the AD unnecessarily suspended their HC for the tournament

Why can’t LSU go for a coach that is better than Wade? Doesn’t have to be just Wade or nothing. There are many college basketball coaches out there that are quite a bit better than Wade actually. Woody needs to go big or get the hell out.
