AJ Haulcey - shored up a non-existent safety position and was solid. Helped restore a defense that was awful the prior two years. Excellent portal pickup!

It took him way too long to adjust to the culture here - he made too many bad coaching hires and took too long to adjust to NIL and the portal.
I thought that given we had two borderline buffoons that won national titles before him that he would be able to win one here. I was wrong.
Promoting Sloane and keeping Davis when he finally fielded a talented defense proved his final undoing. There are plenty of less talented offenses producing better than ours this year.

Which aligns with my biggest dislike, in that from game one to the end, he did not make any noticeable changes to an offense that was at best anemic. It was just doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. In other words, BK's stint at LSU was just pure insanity.

When he acted all butt hurt over a simple question about our lack of a running game he lost me. He ended up being an old short white guy who had no expertise on either side of the ball. Your head coach has to have either offensive or defensive expertise in order to bring value.

Call Les what you want. Yes. He may be a buffoon but LSU had some very good offensive lines that cleared paths for all the good running backs
