1. Eliminate the paid parking for the interior sections of campus. I've seen numerous empty spaces (between Howe-Russell and the Physics Building) every game. Parking is just too inconvenient and people don't want to walk over a mile before and after to watch LSU play Furman.

This is the biggest hinderance in my opinion.

I believe the empty seats have gotten more noticeable once this was put in place.

I think LSU needs to realize the net effect of loss concession revenue is greater than the gain in parking fees.

Link has been sent to Alleva. I'm sure he reads TD multiple times each day anyway.

parking problems and traffic flow before/after games; all the tailgating by folks without tickets to the game doesn't help, either

Your ideas sound pretty good to me.

The parking/traffic being directed by clueless, Gestapo goons are the biggest impediments for me to attend games.

Me too. And for that reason, the bus idea won't help. I'd rather sit in my own car in traffic for 2 hours than be crammed on a bus waiting in the same traffic.

4. Serious improvements to replays. Show replays more than once for great plays and plays that are controversial and/or require a review.

They actually did a surprisingly great job with these during the A&M game. Multiple looks at all three of the plays challenged/reviewed for LSU (the Jennings sneak, Robinson's INT, and the Evans non TD). Looked like they were using the CBS feed to get those nice, zoomed in shots.

Of course it'd be better if they used the entire screen but have to give them some credit for starting to listen to suggestions.

This will cause much of the BTR populace to whine, but will help the parking problem: No admittance to campus or any parking area without game tickets. I commute to get to the games and cannot get there early in the morning. On my way to the stadium an hour or less before kickoff each week I pass crowds LEAVING because it's now game time. Parking for ticket holders only is easily and cheaply implemented.

Edited for typo

Implode Tiger Stadium, build a new one from scratch, reduce capacity to about 79000, make it an experience, like Jerrysworld. That is what it will take. That is what people want for the entertainment dollar.

Made my fourth trip to Tiger Stadium this past Saturday, and I think the place is the balls. I even like the old-school concourses, concrete ramps, and ancient bathrooms.

Plus, from what I could tell, the administration is doing a good job of tweaking and upgrading as they go — without negatively affecting the overall vibe of the Tiger Stadium experience.

Have bar areas like cowboys stadium. You go in, have a beer, watch a few plays on the tv there, go back to your seat. Those things are very popular in cowboys stadium.

You don't think that will keep people in the bar and out of their seats?

Sorry but college and pro football games are PG13 events. No way to eliminate the profanity and it's not just the students.

That loud CRAP isn't for you. It's for the team/recruits. DWI.

Most has already been covered but I'll pitch in.

The no wi-fi doesn't bother me, people are too addicted to smart phones anyway. You're there to enjoy the game and atmosphere, not your phone.

BUT, that being said, use the JUMBOtrons and other electronic boards to show other games at half, Top 25 scores, SEC scores, State school scores, and LSU game stats....CONSTANTLY....not once a half.

Add a couple of food chains on each side....nothing fancy...keep like a mall or airport style. Just let a Chick Fil A or McDonalds in to add some variety.

Sell beer. Maybe just until the start of 3rd quarter, but sell it.

Fix parking. As an LSU alumnus, I like to park on campus and walk through it to get to different tailgate spots. Quit trying to close it off.

Fix the student section. If they are all truely cramming themselves inside the lower levels. Sell more tickets in the upper levels. The empty seats look terrible!! Let more students in the stadium or sell them outright to other season ticket holders.

Stadium atmosphere intended to be diff and better than Home HDTV, because you don't get the crowd noise and true atmosphere at the game. Just have to keep the crowd coming in. Options above would help that IMHO.

- BEER or at least construct resturants and/or bars that serve alcohol
- Upgrade the existing TV's
- Add more TV's to restrooms and concourses
- Use the entire jumbotron as intended!!! Even the world's largest at Jerry World does not show the corporate crap that LSU does
- I'm an ex-smoker, but don't have a problem with bull-pens/smoking areas
- Install a small/narrow video screen that surrounds the inside stadium in the mezzanine area. I'm not sure the proper name, but it is common at many stadiums.
- Replace the bleachers with seats
- BEER

All of this will cost $$$, but it is reasonable.
