re: What round do you see Deichmann going in?

I'm looking for a site that has all their times but only thing I've found was perfect game. That's a high school site and doesn't have a lot of our players on it like Laird I saw Fraley's time 6.56 and Deichman's is like 6.76 so the myth that he's faster than Fraley can be put to rest. Then again it's times from high school when Deichman was much smaller and was projected at SS or 2B. Also said Deichman had an avg arm with good carry but Fraley had a very good arm with pinpoint accuracy.

Very good thanks for producing the link.

There's no world where I actually believe Deichmann is faster than Mark Laird head to head and you don't either

The thing is I'm a bigger fan of Deichman than I am of Fraley. I was also a bigger fan of Kevin Faulk than I was of Tyson Jackson that doesn't mean I'm blind enough to think Jackson wasn't going to be drafted higher. Some of our fans do this constantly, Guice is better than Fournette, Blakeney was better than Simmons now it's Deichman is better than Fraley. Any current player will always be hyped over any former player. That's why every season we see " this is the the most talented team in, fill in the blank sports history, ever" threads.

Running 60 yards it's anyone's race. .04 isn't much difference. Point is if you think Laird was fast, Deichmann is working with similar speed
Running 1st to 3rd or home to 3rd? Maybe not

In Lester's defense he did say freshman year was when those times are from. Deichman is bigger now and could've lost some speed. He's 30lbs heavier now than he was then.

Dude I don't need defense when I was right and you were wrong
Or maybe he mainted his speed once he got into a college program. Who knows. Guy can still run that's all I know

But you havnt proved you were right a-hole. The question was did the link exist I said probly not, not definitely you moron. He may have been faster as a freshman weighing 180 now he's 210 and a lot bulkier. You havnt provided any current info douchebag.

You said it was completely untrue on the last page lol
Posted on 4/16/17 at 6:41 pm to Lester Earl
I think Deichmann is a great hitter and will get better with real coaching, to be fair. At least an average speed guy. My concern with drafting him high would be his position. I think he's probably below average in the field at any position.

Well that's a lie. It's obvious you have trouble grasping the English language but it's ok being an a-hole makes up for that.

Did you not say you doubt there is a link cause what I said wasn't true?
Posted on 4/16/17 at 7:36 pm to Madking
Which actual scouts reports have you guys seen?
Posted on 4/16/17 at 7:43 pm to dj30
Deichmann could hit 30-40 homers a year in the majors with a good hitting coach and some actual protection around him
Posted on 4/16/17 at 7:53 pm to Lester Earl
You quoted me by saying I said "completely not true" that's what you claim I said. Big difference between that and doubting something. I'm not going to post the definition of doubt, that can be your little homework assignment. I was incorrect and I admitted so even though your statement was misleading and. A guy running a time 3 years and 30lbs ago isn't what the discussion was about and certainly had nothing to do with anything I said. We were comparing Fraley and Deichman as Deichman is now.
Posted on 4/16/17 at 7:58 pm to Madking
Actually the original statement was Deichmann was clocked faster as a freshman. Another poster asked for a link. You responded you doubted one existed because it was untrue. You were then provided with a link and then started spinning, arguing semantics.
Nothing was misleading at all. Do you have anything to substantiate Deichmann is slower now than he was as a freshman?

I checked out Baseball America, Perfect Game, the Rays post draft report on Fraley, baseball draft report, the baseball cube and scout.com. Only one I saw that had actual times was perfect game and it had no times for some of our players and had times from the summer after each players high school careers. Also Lester provided a site not sure of the name or if it had any draft projections, plus it was from a couple years ago.

You're mixing my statement in with a different convo. He's not faster than Fraley at anytime which is what I said. But yes he was right about his freshman year being faster than whoever he mentioned. Again I'm talking about him and Fraley not the guys he mentioned. And it is misleading because we are taking about Deichman's draft projections which has noting to do with his freshman pre season times. I just said I doubted that he was faster than the guys that were mentioned. I didn't know the times were taken while Deichman was 30lbs lighter but was still suprised.
