True, but he’s not gonna put up the numbers Mayfield or Murray did, and I think there’s gonna be a strong want to not give it to an Oklahoma QB 3 years in a row. The only way I see Hurts winning is if there’s just not another viable candidate.

As for Burrow, people are seemingly hanging on to this antiquated, arbitrary 300 yards passing number. If he has the exact same passing stats he did last week, even with a couple less TD passes and he picks up a few critical 1st downs rushing with his feet en route to a very nice road win, he’ll be right in the conversation.
