I just don't agree. Ben has that extra inch, and he's about 3 steps quicker than she could ever dream to be. A caveat would be he has to be taking this match up seriously, and not goofing around.

Remember, Voogd played in the SEC. That means he had to have played some semblance of defense, as well as being able to handle the ball against pressure that is INFINITELY quicker than what Clark is used to.

I'm NOT NECESSARILY including you in this group (I don't know you), but the media is very powerful in forming drive buy opinions. They've convinced a lot of sports fans that Clark could hang with the men. And it's just not true.

College aged Muggsy Bogues or Spudd Webb would run her arse also.

He should be in the LSU Basketball Hall Of Fame if only for a miracle walk-off "3 point" halfcourt gamewinner against a GREAT Alabama team in a snowbound PMAC in February 1973.

he was my first favorite player tarzana and I remember that shot very well. That Bama team was a top 10 team legit. Darnell was a pass first - selfless point guard, Paulubinskas was the scorer on that team, Collis the rebounder.

Collis Temple had some very unflattering comments about the way he was treated at LSU, esp by Coach Press Maravich and Mike Darnell. Temple was the first black basketball player at the school, maybe the first black athlete on any LSU team sport.

I don't doubt Collis encountered some resistance and bigotry, and if Darnell was part of something like that in any way I would lose some respect for him.

Having said that, I've come to respect CT1 less and less and less the more I find out about him and I would not be surprised if there was at least some exaggeration for effect.
