re: Why do people keep saying Kiffin will eventually leave LSU for Bama?

Based on Kiffin’s track record, I would not be surprised if he left us for another job eventually. I certainly don’t expect him to retire here.
I figured this was just understood by all parties.
That said, the Bama job is not better than the LSU job. It’s actually worse.
Won’t really matter to Kiffin though. I think he’s just the kind of person that likes jumping around to different jobs.

Reading between the lines, it seems Saban told Kiffin that LSU is the best job in all of football

This is the dumbest response. Did you come up with this all on your own or did your 7 year old help you with this captivating insight?

Damn I am just marveling at your idiotic comment based absolutely no backup information whatsoever.

yeah and I usually ignore retard insight. I guess I'll have to start doing that with the Kiffin comments also.

Yea well the same was said about Nick Saban and job hopping. No one thought NS would be at Bama for 18 yrs.LK knows he can go down as LSUs NS and might surprise people and stay for a while.

He can accomplish the same thing here as he can in Tuscaloosa. Why is anyone pretending like that's a better job with more resources or better recruiting? It makes absolutely no sense to me. Am I missing something?
This . I don't get it either. I can tell you that my acquaintances in Tuscaloosa were red faced furious about Saban's assistance with helping LSU acquire Kiffin. I mean furious.

Just out of curiosity, what makes you think he wouldn’t do the same thing to LSU he did to ole miss? Eventually.

It's been known that Kiffin has wanted to follow Saban at BAMA, with the rumors of his departure, who knows if that will ever happen.
Whatever bad blood there is, if Kiffin start winning BIG, you know BAMA will give him a look if they are unsatisfied.

The Kiffin haters and Kiffin worshippers are the worst on this board. Consider:
1. This was a great hire, and Kiffin was the best coach available.
2. Kiffin is a job jumper, but there a fewer and fewer jobs to jump to after
LSU. Another stint in the NFL or an Alabama/ Ohio State or Notre Dame
would be the only ones that he might jump to.
3. He is a world class troll and has a line of bullshite with him, but these fits
right in with what college football has become.
4. If LSU gets a Natty and a couple of SEC championships, along with
many 10-11 win seasons, in a 6-7 year span, I am good with that.

Notre Dame? Lmao. I can't even take that seriously. I stopped reading your entire comment after I read Notre Dame.

I mean Nick already told him it’s the best job in CFB. Why would he leave for a lesser job at Bama, according to Nick ;)

People who know Bama say they would never pursue Kiffin anyways after his stint there. I am sure things change if he is successful here, but I dont think it is some foregone conclusion there would eb any mutual interest.
If he is very successful at LSU they absolutely 100% would want him.

Coaches Portal. LK may be a charter member - but for now he is our Tiger (by the tail)… lol.

He gonna leave LSU after 5 years or so- it’s just what he does. I would say NFL before Bama.
