Unless Lane has a way to teach him to throw with anticipation,‘improve accuracy, and be able to get past his primary read,’we need a new QB.

I may be one of the few in agreement. Dude can make throws and is a baller. Yea he’s unpolished but keep the kid here. If he gets beat out, we finally have a legit backup

Because Van Buren is not any good …soon enough this year ..need to go into a portal and grab a qb that actually is somewhat accurate and makes decent decisions ..don’t need a star but need someone who is functional ..can’t win without one

I don't disagree that MVB could look much better in LK's offense just look at Blake Sims in 2014. However, Chambliss was a productive QB before LK and then exploded under LK. MVB has shown promise but he has also struggled a decent amount on accuracy and reads. Whatever LK decides to do I will trust as he will do what is best for the LSU offense.
