I personally hate them bc they cost me a hundred bucks against USC...when they were clearly NOT the better team on the field....:bitter:

Being an old timer and an LSU graduate, I've never once thought anything about Texas, but as students we sure loved the games that were televised between Texas and Arkansas. That game between the two in '69 was great.

I don't think Texas hates LSU. Texas thinks they are better than LSU. But that's not hate. That's just arrogance.
It's not personal or directed just at LSU or Louisiana on the whole. Texas thinks they are better than everyone else in everything.

Been living in Texas for twelve years. I have never heard anyone express a particular hatred for LSU.

I lived in Texas during the 07 championship run. Texas fans always tried to tear down the title LSU won. Many said Hawaii should've been there instead of LSU, even after UGA destroyed them.

i didn't even hate ut after the cotton bowl loss in 02. i really blamed saban for that loss.
then, in hindsight, i saw that loss as the impetus for our 03 run.
i just always thought the sabine river separated the coonasses from the horse's asses.

It's not the UT, its the whole state, they think they are better than the rest of the country!!They think they are are there own country,bigger and better!!mack brown is a good coach and person from what i have seen. Stand up guy

I personally hate UT, pretty much for the same reason I hate USC. They're fans and a lot of the media proclaim them to be dominant powerhouse programs before they've ever won jack and don't give the same respect to worthy teams from the SEC. Especially these last 10 years or so. How many FB championships for Texas + USC past 10 yrs. = 2 (that's giving them USC's stripped title). SEC = 5. That's just FB. I like putting them in their place....see Baseball.
