ALA (well he clearly didn't belong on the field).

By that logic you could just as easily say Leonard Fournette isn't an SEC-caliber running back.

That was BS for coach O to throw his player under the bus immediately after the game. When LSU was trying to run that silly toss play...Guice had to beat 2 people if he goes left and 3 if he goes right...He instead went straight ahead since there was a body on a body...

Dumb fan tried to screen shot it to criticize Guice..but watch who misses their block in full speed.

Umm did you even see the game?
One team's qb looked like he didn't belong nowhere near the field.

Unless you believe

Matt Canada is incompetent

How can you suggest Canada might not give a fair evaluation to each QB .

Wake up, the nightmare is over!

Les & Cam are gone

Huh

He was attempting to degrade a player by cherry picking his performance against Alabama. I used the Fournette example to illustrate the absurdity of his argument.

I was at the game and saying stats are misleading is just trying to say your opinion is more reliable than what actually happened. Guice failed to reach 100 yards we had no 100 yard reciever Etling was the best offensive player vs Florida. Saying he wasn't is just a lie to further your narrative. And saying that a player who's never taken a snap and wasn't recruited by any SEC school is definately better than a player who played really well is just stupid. We set multiple records with Etling at qb an the offensive production under him was better than it's been in years ignoring that is also stupid. He will start because he's the best qb we have. This notion that a 4 star player who is the 9th ranked qb in his class has a low celing or no talent is just false.

Every comment you've made about the Florida game is 100% false. Either you didn't watch the game of you're purposely lying about it to trick ppl. Guice ran the wrong way the play was blocked fine if hedve went the right way. We all love guice but he messed up there and cost us the game. We couldn't run up the middle if youdve watched the game you'd know we tried that 9 times inside the 10 and gained about 2 yards.

Your post would have been great, but you messed up, you put 1 player vs another player...when we have 4 QB's going after this "starting job"...shame on you....

Who is 5/10? Not Scott.

Coach O just said there will be a QB competition. Said nice things about Etling as well.

No evidence what so ever to support this.

This aint high school. Scott has never taken a snap in an LSU/SEC game. Don't know what he'll do when the lights come on and the speed of the game is played at a much higher level.

Don't care what he looks like in practice. Practice isn't a high pressure game...................

You'd also have to think that Etling is going to greatly improve under Canada instruction and will entrench himself as the #1 QB during the Spring.............

You base this on what? High school highlight real? Etling was a star higher in high school and has just as impressive highlight real as Scott. Etling has two years of playing in college with hundreds of snaps to look at defenses, read defenses, analyze tape and make mistakes. Scott hasn't taken a snap in college and you grant him air apparent next best qb at LSU? I love Scott and would like to see what he has on the field but there is a strong chance that he never takes a snap at LSU which is sad but very true with the talent he has behind him as true freshmen.

They probably attended more practice sessions than I did, but I stand by what I said from when I was there.

*no dual threat QB has had consistent success at LSU in who knows how long*

"I know! The dual threat, I've-never-seen-him-play-before freshman should definitely, unqequivocally start over the senior who turned the offense around immediately."
