I think they are doing that so everyone can compare scores easier. You got two teams on byes and other events take longer then others. I think it's to make it easier to compare where everyone is with each other instead of having scores differ by 10-20 and 40 something points

Did anyone watch Oklahoma on Floor? Maggie Nichols had a flawless routine and scored 9.925 Then Jackson goes last and has a huge hop back on her first pass followed by a really big lunge on her final pass. Her score...9.925 I have been fuming ever since. This shows me all I need to know about these judges and the results. Oklahoma can not be beat because the judges will completely ignore MAJOR deductions to ensure Oklahoma gets the big scores. It sucks to feel so gutted before LSU has even competed. I guess I have to ignore results and just hope LSU beats them on the floor whether or not the judges allow it in the scores.

I think Maggie was scored fairly if u noticed really closely on a couple of her landings she slid back just ever so slightly.
Yea that last rouine made no sense at all

I said the same thing. It is quite ridiculous.

Thanks, Stephen! It's a great day to follow LSU sports!

For tonight's meet, would it better to go routine-by-routine or have all of the scores available on the first page? Just looking for what may work best for you guys?
Thanks and
Thanks and

I would put it first page so people don't have to dig to find certain scores! I'm so pumped for tonight, I feel really good

Appreciate that 357! It is going to be great. Also, UCLA looks damn good right now.

Also I really pray Ruby is competing vault, we NEED her on vault. We need that extra 10 start value to try to maximize our vault score. We will need some extra cushion from that event to help our bars scores. Zero reason she shouldn't compete anything short of injury

As much as o dislike UCLA, they do have some beautiful bar routines. I like Kocian and Ross a lot, they are really classy people, nice to see them enjoying college. It's unfortunate to say but now they can finally enjoy gymnastics. Competing at the elite level is ridiculously stressful
Read a pretty good article about Kocian, Ross, and Wieber the other day. To have to make that decision at a young age to either turn pro or go do college gym really sucks. Wieber said she went in the coaches office after her first year at ucla and cried and asked if she gave all of her pro money back could she do collegiate gym. Coach said obviously not. Gymnastics really does have a short shelf life and you gotta capitalize while you can.

I agree completely! When you do it pays off tho. Look at Aly Raisman, Simone Biles, Nastia. Laurie Hernandez was committed to Florida but she decided to forgo college, now she has a shite load of endorsements and opportunities. I think it's smart to capitalize on it while u can. These girls can easily go and be a volunteer coach after if they want

How did we get stuck with all SEC schools?
Posted on 4/14/17 at 5:13 pm to Tigerbait357
Yeah. It's definitely worked for Aly, Simone, Nastia, Laurie, etc. Their personalities are great and easy to market. Hernandez might be one of the most likeable athletes i have ever seen just off of her personality and smile alone haha. Kocian and Ross were more the quiet type and specialists on the team so it would be harder for them to grow their brand. Heck even McKayla Maroney capitalized on her 2012 rise. The "unimpressed" meme really took off and helped. It was a really good read. This is the most former Olympians/US team members that have participated in collegiate gym in a long time. Skinner is at Utah, the 2 at UCLA, Nichols at OU. It's a stacked field. But Geaux Tigers!

May I see pictures of your vagina? Nothing weird- just traditional nude selfies. I don't need to see your large intestine or anything.

Plus Finnegan (2012 alternate), EB (2012 alternate) and Harrold (2012 Alternate, 2016).

Finnegan was really special when she competed in the elites! Her training was second to none! She has always been clean on everything and can really do it all! I loved watching her back then
