Is sumlin and Mark dantonio are making more than Les we have to stay competitive in the salary dept.

Why?

He has a contract for the next 5 years. He's well-paid now for what he produces. If he doesn't go to Ann Arbor, it's not like anybody else is beating down his door.

He still is gonna average 29 wins in 3 years.........which is more than ALMOST all his counterparts.

But we have more than enough money flowing into our system to pay a coach what he currently warrants which is top 7 pay.

TOP 7

Miles is a premiere coach and should be ahead of Sumlin, Dantonio, and Strong. But that's because those coaches should be making LESS, not necessarily because Miles should be making MORE.

Thats more than Sumlin, more than Freeze, more than Brian Kelly, more than Muschamp(who most people wanted to replace Miles ).

so can you name the coaches ahead of him in wins from 2012 and on like you did with 2011 and on?

It would be interesting to see

I like Les. Always have. I hope he stays. With that said he has a contract that LSU pays him an outrageous amount of money (yes, I know other coaches make more).

If someone offers him more money and unless LSU matches or betters it and Les will go,I wish him all the best at his new school -- except if they play LSU in a bowl.

I don't understand why everyone keeps bringing up a new contract for Miles.

1. As if he even has an offer from Michigan. . .

2. His current contract already extends to 2019.

38 Wins - Jimbo Fisher
35 Wins - Nick Saban
35 Wins - Urban Meyer

31 Wins - Dabo Swinney
30 Wins - Mark Dantonio
29 Wins - Art Briles
29 Wins - Mark Richt
29 Wins - Bob Stoops
28 Wins - Les Miles

So Fisher dominates the ACC, Meyer dominates the B1G, Saban dominates the SEC, and then there's everyone else all huddled together.

ETA: Same School removes Malzahn and Anderson.

Since you don't have any that's an empty threat.

yes. If he wants to leave, let him go. He is over paid already. No way in hell you give him a raise until he wins another SEC championship, or at least makes it to ATL and looks good in the process.
