Not one of the people you mentioned even went to BAMA. Mannings were never going to go to LSU because pops went to Ole Miss.
That being said, I would NEVER pull for BAMA. Ran across an old fart recently (and I'm a younger old fart) in a restaurant who was rude to someone in line behind him. I opened my mouth and said something like "Ignore him, he's just a BAMA fan." His response was "21-0" and mine was "9-6" and your team shouldn't have been there because your team got in the MNC through the back door without winning your conference.

My nephew went to Bama grad school on a scholarship. He's a very smart guy and great kid. I got a text earlier this week that his company gave him tickets to the NC game and he is excited to go to Tampa. I have mixed feelings but in the end frickem. Go Clempson

My clemson friends who were at the Bama game last year said the Bama fans showed very little emotion even after winning. I would say 99 percent of college football fans want to see the tedious tide tumble.

if you rooting for alabama, you are saying you are not a true lsu tiger and that you do not bleed purple and gold. thats a fact jack. if bama loses the natty, looks better for lsu that recruits will look to come to lsu. its easy for saban to recruit kids and break out all the rings to say look at what you get if you come here. go clemson tigers

I also don't think that Alabama winning another national championship harms LSU's recruiting, as instead it adds to the prestige of the SEC, which helps all SEC teams and especially the West.

Finally, a logical, mature post instead of emotional silliness. Of course I'll be pulling for Bama, as I did for Auburn and Florida when they played for the NC. I take pride in being a member of the SEC and want it to be recognized as the strongest conference in the country.

I always root for the sec except Alabama football...we reached a tipping point where their success is no longer helping the SEC it just helps Bama...they recruit in Louisiana so I want them to lose...every game.
