The problem is that he either takes an opinion that's obvious, or one that he can't really support. There are the rare times when he comes up with something and backs it up. The dude isn't a complete retard, he's just pretty opinionated and likes to put other people down.

Yeah, he's a smart guy. The problem is that he knows it and gets some kind of sad pleasure over lording his knowledge and logic over others. Being that the interwebs are chock full of retards, it's no surprise that he makes it his own personal playground. He's making up for the fact that all his real world acquaintances were out having a few drinks without him tonight. And most nights, FWIW.
It's ok, SFP. There's a guy like you at my office, so you aren't alone. Well, you are alone, but you get what I mean...

Think you summed up SFP in a nutshell
But this thread is different.
I don't think SFP has ever posted about the greatness and wasted talent of the 2006 LSU football team before.

No, dont get me wrong...his statement is by far and away correct.... SFP in himself is a retard. I'm getting rather sick of him starting threads with patently moronic and idiotic (football wise) statements, and then arguing with anyone who points out that Miles and his staff know far more about football than he'll ever dream of knowing. I figured I'd just launch a preemtive strike
Fixed it!

JR: #1 overall pick
Bowe: 1st rounder
Davis: 1st rounder
Early: 3rd rounder
Dorsey: top 5 pick
Tyson: top 5 pick
Laron: top 6 pick
Chevis: 3rd round pick
Steltz: 4th round pick
Beckwith: likely 3rd or 4th round pick
Black: likely 1st or 2nd round pick
Herm: likely 3rd or 4th round pick
Quinn: should get drafted (good for a FB)
Slow, don't forget about Hester, future 1,000 yard rusher and 3rd rounder only getting 3 carries while the "distended duo" of Alley and JV got all the carries against Auburn. If he had gotten the touches against Auburn he got against Florida (not to mention an extra inch against the Gators
Also, RJF will be a likely 3-5 rounder as well. Had a great game on The Plains.

And what's the estimate of how many posts ROCKS has? When I lived with him I think he was on pace to take SFP down...
IDK, he hardly ever posts anymore. He's probably around 90,000-100,000 or so, I'm guessing, but I really have no idea, since I don't know what his total was when it was taken down, and what date that was.

I 100% blame Jimbo Fischer for the Auburn disaster. I thought at the time that Miles held him back, but Crowton figures out a way to use his talent.......Jimbo, not so much.

Sorry that I don't know as much about the 06 tigers as you guys obviously do, but were all those guys even starting?
I think it's easy to say all these guys were on the team even though some of them could have been redshirt freshman who didn't have any impact on any of the games.
Can I say the 2002 Ohio State team had 3 additional first rounders in Hawk, Carpenter, and Whitner because they were "officially" on the team? As I said I'm not sure if this was the case for any of these guys but wanted to see if these guys were all on the field at the same time

They didn't all start, but everyone except Quinn Johnson was a key contributor. Steltz didn't start but played a lot and I think led the team in INTs.

Yes they were all starters except Steltz who did start a couple (bowl game for sure). That is how bad arse that team was. Better than the 07 squad in most people's opinions.

Yeah, it's a pretty impressive list, Quinn should've been a contributor, too bad we waited so long to move him to FB.

All except Quinn Johnson. A guy by the name of Jacob Hester was the starting FB for that team.
And to another poster, Steltz did start a good bit in 2006. Steltz had a key INT on Auburn's second drive.
As for the 2006 team, "some things just aren't meant to be".

Thanks guys for the laughs. Feeling a little down this am because of some potential bad news from the doc about my wife. Whenever I need a lift, I come here for brevity. Keep up the good work!

Sorry to hear that, Mike. Thoughts and prayers to you and the Mrs...

fricking refs in auburn along with a pussy gameplan and some mental errors in gainseville, plus our devestating schedule
We can and have blamed the refs ad nauseum for that game but as you allude to it should never have come to that.
Playing that Michigan bunch I for 3.5 quarters with the talent we had on offense was criminal. Tight ends and H-backs on the field instead of all those NFL talent receivers.
Now I thought the offensive gameplan for Florida that year was fine, just the kids made mistakes with turnovers...that's on them.
I did have issues with Pellini's playing three down linemen against Florida the majority of that Florida game. Teebow's in there and almost certainly gonna run and we replace a down lineman with a safety. Brilliant.
