Inherited from an IRA if I’m not mistaken. We then rolled her 401k into an IRA years later. I’m pretty sure they are in the same IRA because I’ve got 2. One with a balance and 1 under my name that I use for my back door with zero balance.
That could be a problem. You can’t roll a traditional IRA into an inherited IRA, and withdrawals are required to begin immediately from the inherited IRA (RMD determined by when you inherited it).

I have an option that might interest her. I specialize in 401k rollovers. Do you have an email so I can contact you ?

Just watch for fees. Usually when you leave a job they will start taking the fees your old company paid straight out of the account. You can easily roll it into a principal Ira and keep the same fund to avoid the fees.
