I bought a “stock” one online several years back but I can find the website any longer. Everything I’m pulling up so far is either shite or expensive as hell.

Use Behance and Dribbble to find ideas you like.
Don't skimp on the price. It always drives me crazy when people have shitty branding cause they don't want to pay a little money.

What is normal and customary for something like that? Looking for something with a Pelican as the name of the company includes the word.

Fiverr. You can get some awesome logos for very cheap

It's been a few days, but bumping this up.
I'd say $500 minimum for something good. $1200 for really good.

Thanks. I actually went with fivver. Sent the lady in Sri Lanka a few examples of ideas I had and in a day she was done. $50 all in plus or minus. I’m pleased with it as I was really just trying to keep it clean, modern and simple.

Make sure you get all of your files in vector format in addition to .jpeg & .png.
This will save you a ton of headache when you go to get branded items made.
