I literally only get cash when I know I'll have to pay some sort of cover to get in a bar

I almost always make all my daily purchases with my credit card. I have no service charges, I never go over the limit, and I pay off the entire balance monthly.

unless you are in an introductory period of a credit card with no interest rate, i think you are paying the credit card company to loan you money for a couple of weeks. throwing away money if that's the situation IMO

I usually use a card.

1. easier to track transactions for deductions

2. miles / rewards

Credit cards don't work like this, you only get charged interest if you carry a balance. It cost nothing if you pay it in full every month.

rewards are nice... it just isn't smart in my opinion to run the plastic daily.

your card number is being run through the business's system which makes it more likely it'll be stolen

if you're worried about being robbed of a couple hundred bucks, then you shouldn't be going where you go IMO

I don't pay interest, because I pay off the entire balance every month, not just the minimum due.

i understand this... more power to you but it's just risky IMO to have the number thrown around like that. if you have protection, then that's fine

some cards have a daily charge. if you're this avid about using the card then it sounds like you know what you're doing. my initial statement was aimed at people who just use the cc cause it's easier

Gotta love the cashback. Also, you are offered way more protections when using the credit card. If I buy something and it breaks out of warranty my AMEX automatically covers it an additional year or something like that.

if you think it's a good idea to keep using the cc, then obviously keep doing it. you don't need my input because you know how it works and are okay with it.

Go to the Walmart by Cortana. You'll stand in line for 30 minutes to check out because they're all paying with cash money bitch.

If you don't know how it works I would recommend not making comments like:

Debit card and cash are really the same thing. I usually try and carry $60 on me, but use the debit for most purchases.

Now the CC is a whole different thing to me...

i know how it works... and i'd like to avoid the headache should something happen. it's a personal opinion and you don't have to like it. sorry i got your panties in a wad by meaning the idiots who get deep in credit card debt.

credit cards are very useful but not everyone is as smart as you

True, and I know all of us OT ballers pay off the cards every month (I did and still do for the little bit I use it). But a large percentage of people don't do this...and are in debt up to there eyeballs.
