Yeah, China will ease their restrictions on rare earth exports, which I guess spooked lithium markets that the China supply will affect domestic prospects.
That may be an overreaction as I think Trumps admin already had the wheels in motion to prioritize domestic and stop relying on China. China is known to be asshoe and will likely be asshoe again in the future. Domestic companies will continue to be important for national security

Okay that's enough down for one day, SLI. Very funny.

Im curious as to if this a potential wildcard. Theoretically, they could start production for sale with their current setup right? Lanxess already has the brine rights correct?
That was the original plan, but not anymore. They aren't going any further with Lanxess. When Lanxess got cold feet and backed out, they thought they'd just demand more for the brine which made it cost prohibitive.

Trump is smart enough to continue to prioritize domestic production. He's been preaching it for decades. This is a stop gap deal until we can work out other options. Trump was working on this his first term, then the Biden administration sat around with their thumb up their arse to the benefit of China and the detriment of the US and national security.

Looking like another shitty day.
I really gotta stop watching this thing.

Unfortunately, really no reason to watch this until production can start. Other than that it is going to trade sideways for awhile

I wish it were going to trade sideways. Unfortunately, I think it’s headed back to sub 2’s. And probably in very short order

I disagree, FID will launch this. Any offtake announcements will also move this stock.
There is also the Morgan Stanley option to purchase 4 million more shares at around $4.35.
I think this period is way different than what we saw after the short report. This stock is institutional now.

I just bought more at $3.75
I’ve moved my goal post for now and going to continue to make small buys on down days when it’s below $4
My luck I’ll be buying every day until the end of the year. Kids will be getting SLI for Christmas. FML
