The "ordinary guy in the overalls" would rather screw this deal and continue "going to work in overalls" than take 2.5% and enjoy a steady income

They looked brand spankin' new.
He was funny. I'm curious why SLI has to destroy 2 acres of his land for their project
Otherwise, lots of support in favor of this time around from the public comments.

Closing arguments.
Does this look like we'll get a decision today? Looks like there's nothing else but "deliberations by commissioners" before making a decision.

Possibly - they didn't finish til I think 4 or 5 last meeting. Might have enough time today, not sure.

The opposition's major arguments are hilariously contradictory.
"Standard is going to make a huge profit off this lithium royalty rate"
also
"Standard has not proven they can even extract lithium from the brine profitably"
And the opposition still can't understand the difference between lithium chloride and lithium carbonate/hydroxide.

I'm so confused...it just got approved right?
The motion was to approve the royalty rate as proposed, and they unanimously voted in favor...?
I'm going with yes, it's approved.
Done deal.

Did I hear the vote correctly? 9-0 in favor of a 2.5% royalty rate?
