DJT closed/dropped 2-2.5% on Friday once the news came out instead of riding the wave up with the rest of the market. Its up .43% in the Friday aftermarket. Thoughts on if this news still has an affect this week? I'm thinking it does get affected some by BTC being down, but not sure how much.

My main question is how does this move hurt. I figured it was expected to happen once he won, so why it's hurting now. Of course the announcements timing wasn't the best, but I'm sure it was pre-set to drop.

Revocable trust? What does that have to do with anything?

I'm guessing maybe there was some people that thought would actual follow normal routes and put his financial interests in a blind trust which would probably keep him from selling the stock.

Instead he did like everyone thought he would do and basically did nothing. He still controls everything since the trust is controlled by his son.

He could sell everything tomorrow if he wanted. Therefore more perceived risk to the stock.

The investment still remains the same

This is what I was wondering would be it. So nothing changes. Though he did say a while back he wouldn't be selling his stake. Though I guess now that it's moved to this trust DJT jr is now managing it will now be more open to sell of stock.

With the stake being in the 50%+ range they probably won't dump enough (of they were to) to loss their majority stake. But who knows their future plans of course.

This kind of movement is definitely not attributable to that. It's up 6% in the last 5 days. Up a lot before that. A 2% drop is nothing in a small cap stock like this. Could be some investors dumped to get in qunatum.

I'd perceive more risk in a blind trust. Easier to sell on a run up and say "What could I do, it was in a blind trust!".
