Yeah you can still buy but I wouldn’t. All the liquidity was moved over.
Something like 10 million shares traded hands in the hour after it was locked.
When you tell people it won’t trade after 1PM and then it trades until 3:03PM, but you don’t tell them it’s already been locked in until 4:23PM, you’re going to piss off some folks.

If somebody wants to scroll up, I mentioned that insiders use ambiguity to do very well when this happens.
After the snapshot, there is always a run on the liquidity of the abandoned coin. Insiders know that they'll get their new coins, so they dump when they are sure the snapshot is done.
On the bright side, you should be able to find a bunch of insider wallets based on the time g of their sells compared to the timing of the snapshot.

mean that wallet looks like it was created when this was first built. So if it’s not the liquidity I’m sure it’s someone close to the founders that isn’t just cashing out and leaving them behind.
Yeah, as I mentioned earlier, I don’t think it’s a rug pull, but the execution today leaves a lot to be desired.

I think it’s a piece of shite but I don’t think it’s a rug pull. Prob just need to wait until the team issues a statement about the 2.0 transition

I'm pretty sure it was a liquidity move albeit not very smoothly. They clearly told people not to buy or sell at a certain point. No matter how much you tell kids to stop running around the pool a kid will keep running and fall down. Be interesting to see the other side.

LINK
For everyone’s sake I hope and assume it’s the latter.
Yea these are swaps.
You can look at that address and see all the buys of GME. At the time 131 days ago, they didn't spend anywhere near 8 Mil lol.
Looks like a rug to me...

There is still 400k in bnb left. It will continue to be traded while people try to get to the 400k.
You guys don't have to worry that it was a rug pull, but you might as well get what you can get now. Your other option is to wait on groups to pump it a little and get out on the pump.

quote:7 minutes after the snapshot (at 3:10pm) they sent out an announcement that you could still trade. It wasn’t until 4:23 that they sent out another announcement saying that a snapshot was taken at 3:03 and that trades after that point were not being considered for the new coin.
They clearly told people not to buy or sell at a certain point
I’m inclined to believe that the big sell off was for the initial liquidity for the new coin (they’ll still need another ~$400k), but this was handled really poorly, and the lack of an explanation for the dump on their socials is sketchy

If you go look on Pancake and look at all the big sells, like the $500K-%800K sales, all of these addresses have the same start date of like 131 days ago.

Right at 90% of the total liquidity is locked in what looks to be a dxsale k. That money will not unlock until whatever date it was set to be unlocked.
Generally, what happens is a run on the money after the snapshot for drop is taken. This run usually occurs while the retards are tricked by ambiguity about the situation.
This time, I'm talking out of my arse, bc I dont know what gme is planning. (softball style setup for you guys)

From the Gamecoin team. Fair explanation IMO
quote:
To our Game Coin Holders - To our game coin investors, The following is a comprehensive update on the 2.0 launch thus far. Unfortunately, we experienced a technical issue today revolving around the transfer of the liquidity wallet. Please accept our apologies for any uncertainty or panic you may have felt. We immediately decided to pull the liquidity out as quickly as possible to put it into the new GMEX. We took a snapshot of all wallets at 3:03pm CST. Rest assured that what you are viewing in PooCoin or Dextools for GME is NO longer your value. Your value GMEX value is based on the below: The value of the GMEX liquidity is 20,743 BNB GMEX’s value is .03174 This total BNB will be put into the GMEX liquidity when GMEX opens for trading on Thursday. Pending BNB’s value at that time will dictate the final liquidity amount of GMEX as well as the opening price of GME. If you bought after 3:03 pm, you can sell back those coins as there is still liquidity in GME. BSC is not allowing us to freeze the GME wallets as initially planned. Thus, there is still liquidity in GME, albeit small for you to sell off your post 3:03 pm buys. If you sold after 3:03 pm today the amount you sold will be deducted from your GME amount on your GMEX wallet. Again we apologize for the delay in communication and disruption in your day. We are happy to report that GMEX is on track to be open for buying selling and transferring as planned on Thursday at 1 PM CST. At that point you will receive your tokens and the original liquidity from 3:03 PM will be restored. Lastly, as a sign of our commitment to this project and all Game Coin holders we are adding $1,000 worth of GME at the above-mentioned value (pending BNB's fluctuation) to every GMEX wallet. To the moon.

Everything you needed to know was stated early on in here

quote:Maybe you can help explain - there was a whale wallet that sold after snapshot to the amount of $8 million. Where did that liquidity come from if they moved everything? Was that whale wallet GME doing things? Things just don't add up considering there is a wallet out there with 15k BNB from selling GME after 3:03pm.
No. Everything was frozen price should be what it was around 3:00.

Did they have over 500 million tokens? Were they even supposed to be able to sell?

This is one of the most confusing effed up things I've seen in crypto. I'm going to be incredibly surprised if A) trading really does re-open at 3 cents in Thursday and B) people don't run for the exits after this debacle.
