Does anyone have any information on the Messenger Well in Natchitoche parish.

well was permitted on 3/17 w/Encana Oil & Gas. last activity in the log was that they were drilling. the well s/n is 237289.

the La. Dept. of Natural Resources has a good website...use the Sonris Lite to capture info by parish, by well, or by Sec./Township/Range, or by etc...

LINK

they also have a GIS Access section that has an interactive map.

I have about 60 acres in eastern Red River parish. One month ago I was offered 2,500 per, two weeks ago 7,500 and just got an offer of 14,000 today. I have been out of the country for a week. What has happened recently to cause this jump?

not sure about the lease spike in eastern red river parish...maybe some of the oil/gas/land folk can give you some info.

i do see where there is a lot of recent leasing going in the NE section of the parish...especially in T14N-9W.

Yes, that's exactly where my land is located. Just curious why the double in just two weeks. The big jump makes me apprehensive about agreeing to any offers right now. Any information from people in the know is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Personally..$840,000.00 in the bank..plus a GOOD chance of royalties (they're not gonna pay that much & not drill)...I'd take the money & retire. ;-)

I'm waving the flag for all the landowners in the HS play and nla in general. My family has had a little land there for years and you are GOOD PEOPLE. God has blessed..I am grinning from ear to ear at the good fortune for so many hard-working people getting a little windfall after getting your hands dirty working your little 20-50 acre pastures.

Here's to continued health & happiness.

Sounds like your land must not be in a hot area for activity.

Well Dog , things sure can change fast. $20,000 + South east of me with PHK and my group hasn't even come to the table yet .Is 10 miles north east of Elm/G/P #63 considered hot area for activity ?
