I said it was vaporware, so who isn't reading now Pete? What I also said is Mercedes does not have the 2170 cells that tesla is producing at their gigafactory. Can you please elaborate on the batteries Mercedes is using and who is supplying them and their density vs the 2170 cell from tesla? Again all I said was tesla had a better motor vs every engine in the consumer car space that it competes in with Daimler so I don't know why you believe whatever battery they decide to use in the semi space won't be better than what Mercedes has? Has Elon ever released something that doesn't lead?

Well that doesn't exist.
From what I understand Daimlers working battery as of 2 years ago for its semi truck is half as efficient as 2017 tesla's model s.

What??? The gigafactory is not 100% done but it's up and functioning at this moment and producing 2170 cells, Jesus Pete do you have an agenda or what? Let me guess you work for Daimler? Wtf kinda bs is that trying to say 2170 cells aren't being produced at this moment at the gigafactory

LOL some of you guys are just hilarious, I provide a link disputing what funroe pete said that the gigafactory wasn't producing the 2170 cells that nobody else has and they've been doing it since january....and still a downvote.

LMFAO TSLA is $323 right now at all time highs, every 15 minute candle today has been green and they're loading up on $375 june calls today

35% of a 13.6 million square foot factory is still capable of producing a lot.....always nice to see commentators who don't have their facts straight, either way great day from tesla seems the shorts are running for the exits at all time highs before earnings. Those wise funds, short low and over high, glad the retail public follows their advice

You on the other hand claimed through your "research" that you knew everything about the EV market. You know except for that one major company that's beating your beloved tesla and everyone else in autonomous driving tech.

Beating them in autonomous while big is not the whole equation. Waymo doesn't produce cars and if you put their product in a gm or Ford car good luck outselling tesla in the same price range.

Well it certainly is part of the equation when they also lead the world market share in the industrial truck market and luxury car market.

i know I'm a fanboy. I make no bones about it. But how anybody doesn't have some % of this guy in their portfolio is irresponsible and sad.

My main concern is that Musk will be so focused on saving the world (see new ventures with Neuralink, etc.) that Tesla ends up commanding a smaller and smaller % of his time in the future. I'm not sure if the vision is to have lots of separate companies (SpaceX, Tesla, Neuralink, etc.) or to eventually roll them all under one roof.

I personally believe they all eventually come under the umbrella of the Musk Corporation or something. $325 now, everytime I check its just higher
