Man if you knew what I made this month I just sold all my shares $326.50
So, you've been unrelentingly pumping Tesla stock in this thread for the last 5 days and today you dumped all of your shares???

Hmmmmm....

Umm I started pumping it at $244 last 2 months it's $326 today lol if pumping is selling shares and selling puts to get in cheaper....congrats on Exxon I hope it does what tesla did this last 2 months over the next decade. I don't see why you're being such a salty one recently Russian.

If 'salty' means I expressed an opinion that a stock you like appears to be speculative based on its financial fundamentals and I pointed out this thread has traits of a pump and dump thread, then, yeah, I guess I'm salty.

FWIW, you haven't exactly been Miss Manners in replying to other posters in this thread....

You are being a bit defensive, but I will thank you for making me re think about my holdings in my discretionary portion of my equities portfolio(I keep 60-80% in S&P ETFS). I added some google a couple weeks ago and its up 10%.

LMFAO are you trying to say I pump and dumped a $50B stock using the tigerdroppings money board? Yes bc of all the big money that flows through here. The reality is I said I sold at $326 and I sold puts, which means Im still bullish but hoping to pick up that gap from where I sold shares + sold the puts with the premium. Do you know anything about trading and the RSI getting overheated,

So with that said, here is when I first began my alleged Tesla pump and dump on 3/13/17 when I said this

On that day TSLA was $244, its up 33% and $82 points since and you want me to not try to sell shares and get back in a few dollars cheaper???

the problem is, like I said earlier in the thread, I think this ER is going to be a blowout and how big of a run have we had on no news recently? The shares are going nuts, shorts seem to be covering, there is a ton of accumulation if you look at all the candles. Im still bullish but I sold puts for this week and I plan on selling some jan 2018 ones right before the ER. I just think when shares are up 33% in 2 months on nothing, selling some to try to get in cheaper is prudent. Tesla was $307 friday, im not bearish, but we're at $326 on monday with no news? Im not a greedy pig.

For some reason, I see you edited out your comment about me "riding back down" my Exxon position. I appreciate your genuine concern for me but I think I'm okay. I've more than recovered my original investment outlay just from the dividends I've received over the years. And XOM announced another dividend increase last week.

XOM isn't exciting or sexy but then again, neither am I, so we're made for each other.

As Barry said above, you're being really defensive. It's like anyone here who dares disagree with your opinion about Tesla is personally attacking your family.

That's a good indication of what several of us have pointed out to be your emotional attachment to the stock.

Or that I get offended when people who don't understand a company or stock yet choose to comment on it. I don't run around commenting in threads about matters I don't understand yet for some reason people love to believe they understand tesla and once again today they were all proven to be wrong. It's been non stop and until people realize it's not a car company it will be more of the same. Even the great David einhorn last week said he expects the bubble to pop and his short has been painful and yet again we defy logic and rise 6% today on no news. It's getting expensive for those who short this every time at new all time highs and instead of taking the time I've taken to understand the company, they make comments that aren't true like funroe over here saying the gigafactory wasn't making batteries when in fact that hasn't been true for months. I love you guys but a lot of you should comment on what you understand.

So you get offended by me looking up Tesla's last 3 years of financial statements and commenting on what I see in them?

The next time you start a thread on Tesla maybe you start it off with "If anyone disagrees with me about this stock, please don't post in this thread. I know more than you, therefore, I don't need or want your opinion."

That would save a lot of time for everyone. I know I won't reply to you in one of your Tesla threads again....

Please don't comment on apple again as it's reaching new highs today when you complained last week that it's a dead investment. You obviously don't know what you're talking about regarding apple.

Serious question:
How long have you been investing?

I mean no harm by the question. I just want a genuine idea of how long you've been putting your money in the stock market. Your statement that you get offended when people comment on a company or stock without understanding it made me wonder.

It's a message board

Even though it's the Money Talk board and I realize it's a bit different in culture...it's still just a message board. Why do you need everyone to agree with you?

You've been posting on here long enough to know that the site's owners take a dim view of pump and dump threads on the Money Talk Board.

They have whacked threads which appear to blatantly do that and occasionally those posters get to take a vacation from posting.

Fair enough. I didn't get that impression but I see your point.

TSLA has been my largest single holding since early 2014. I should probably take some profits from this recent run up and buy back in on a drop, but will probably just keep periodically adding instead.

This would be an awful pump and dump. Tesla has too much volume and the share price is too high for a poster on here to make any impact.
