First off, I hate billboards. However, I may agree to be part of the problem if the money is good enough and they'll agree to never run an attorney sign. I have some property on a busy state highway that a few companies seem interested in.

Is there a place where I can go learn about this stuff?
Anyone here know what is typical for the EBR area?

Are the companies proposing it to be digital or just vinyl?

Either way, don't just take a flat lease cost. Get a percentage of their yearly revenues from the board.

Hell yes! I doubt they would actually do it but it's a great idea

Will certainly push for that. Thanks.

Without asking them and they could undercut their revenues, how else could you find out?
or how do they measure how much they make from having a sign out there?

Say company XYZ comes to you and asks to put up a billboard on your property,...how to go about getting a percentage of their yearly revenues from the sign?

I've read online where it happens. The percentage will depend greatly on the market, and I guess they give you some method to audit the earnings.

Is it legal to put signs in peoples front yard if there’s no hoa? I have questions about billboards if anyone is an expert. I think I have a good idea, I’ll do the work and put up the money and cut you in. I’m mostly wondering if my idea is legal or not

Most cities, states, etc. have ordinances or statutes that regulate sign placement areas, dimensions, etc. You would have to research the law for each particular area under consideration and see what, if anything, is allowed.

Don’t act surprised when you have a Love Shack sign on your property.
