Saw the CEO of Bloom Energy on Morning Futures, and he was talking about on site energy from natural gas being the key to these massive data centers. Who else besides Nebius doing this?

I forget who they are supplying it for(wanna say microsoft) but my wife's uncle works for Williams gas. They have a contract with someone in Columbus that they feed natural gas to for their data center.

EDIT: It's Meta https://www.datacenterdynamics.com/en/news/ohio-regulators-approve-construction-of-200mw-gas-power-plant-to-serve-meta-data-center-in-new-albany-ohio/

It looks like Nebius is not paying for the power source in Independence, but negotiating with a power company to come in and build a NG power plant specifically for the data center. Nebius will buy their power from that plant, which will be totally separate from the local grid, which means it won't affect local electricity rates.

I know protesters here in Florida are raising hell because they are worried about rising rates if they approve the 1 GW facility they are building 15 miles south of me, in Fort Pierce. The environmentalists are bitching about the water usage and environmental impact. Seems like NG power plants with close looped water cooling systems mitigate their concerns and can get these projects approved quicker.

Lots of activity in the tri-state area of WV, Ohio, and PA. This area has always been in the mix for industry due to the abundance of fossil fuels. This area also gets a good amount of rainfall. What's sad is we're using some prime farm land for data centers. Wish we could put them in no man's land out west.

Made $190 on the covered call earlier this week.
Just sold a $106 expiring tomorrow for $120.

Might exit today if the opportunity is there.

It all adds up!

Bought back for .05 so made $115 on that one.

That's $305 this week from covered calls.

Took the cash and went long calls that expire today.

.78 for a $97 - closed at 1.24
.40 for a $89 - closed at .84

That's another $90

At least until you get that 50 steps forward kind of week...

I don't think earnings are going to go the same way they did in October. It was great news then, but the stock had gone up so much because of the MSFT deal, that the anti-AI sentiment torpedoed the stock. I believe a lot of people thought the call for $7-$9B ARR was total fantasy and was not going to happen,

Going into this earnings call, the stock is undervalued (based on analyst price targets) and, NBIS has a chance to confirm the ARR projections. The chip depreciation worries seem to have been put to rest, too. If nothing bad happens, the stock will go up.

This is going to be a chance for NBIS to separate themselves from IREN and CRWV. More growth with less debt. Clickhouse IPO possible. Building datacenters with off the grid power, AND, ready for the next generation of data center customers (Enterprise).

A lot of churn from tariffs.

Im holding. AI sentiment is changing slowly and NBIS is establishing itself as a top player.
