No offense fellas but I've lurked for years bc 95% of the threads on this money board are laughable, guys asking about shameful investments from shameful advisors like edward jones and whatnot. All the guys on this board are long oil and have been hammered, yet biotech are risky right? LOL how many oil companies are about to go bust in the next 12-24 months when oil does not recover? This whole board might lose their shirt.

I just wanted to join the board, find guys interested in the same space I was which is biotech, everyone who commented here really had no reason to comment in this thread bc not one of you even said 1 thing remotely related to any biotech company with the exception of a few guys on the first page, who I politely responded to. I became aggressive and angry when I got called a pumper for posting an in-depth analysis on a few different names LOL ok, you guys for the most part, no offense are a bunch of amateur investors and very few guys like me exist on this board, and clearly none in the biotech space, so regardless of what you wanna make me out to be, I have a value.

Anyways best of luck guys, run off one of the posters with legit info you guys could make money off of if you asked intelligent questions, instead you choose to attack and its fine, Ill be back if/when great things are announced and we can laugh together, well i won't laugh bc ill have held the names i got called out for pumping and sharing too much info.

Anyways Ill sit back and enjoy more "what ETF should i buy" threads and "where can i park my money safely for 6 months". Let's not open our horizons and discuss biotech in the golden age of science LOL.

Anyways thank you for running me off this site, not 1 biotech investor even chimed in, oil and gas guys you guys rock, your oil names are way way riskier than bios but go ahead and keep thinking bios are risky.

BLUE,XON,CEMP,TTPH,HALO,AFMD,RDHL,TRIL,RTRX,ANAC watch all 10 of those names and in 10 months when they're all up way more than any other name you have, come back and wish you hadn't run me off.......adios

I'm not mad you insulted oil because I don't take things on a public message board personally.

Just think if only intelligent bio guys opened this thread and began to chat with me instead of all the guys who actually came in here, you guys could have actually had a decent thread worth reading with real scientists commenting, but alas you can go back to the penny stock thread and the oil threads those are littered with great information lol the first page of this thread alone has more actual information than any of these awful energy threads.

I shouldn't have even asked I've lurked for years and never have I see one intelligent post regarding a biotech, most are regarding microcaps and other junk names. O well you live and learn

IOSH you've yet to say one thing to make me believe you were a molecular biology graduate, frankly all these childish things you post are comical not one rebuttal from you about any of the science I've mentioned, I mean if Im so wrong and a molecular biologist like yourself thinks Im ignorant one would assume you would be calling me out on all my wrongdoing in regards to the science

I think it is more about not giving a shite about you or your opinions than ignorance.

Janky aren't you a financial advisor???? LOL thats on par with a realtor as far as I'm concerned, if more people would just buy the SPY and the QQQ they'd just save a ton of time and money on financial advisors its funny how financial managers convince people they're valuable

You seem smart enough. Just pulled a lot of my retirement from S&P funds into BLUE.

100% of gene therapies that show promise in a mouse model are through human trials and on market within 12 months so I'd say this is a strong play.

except in 30 years no gene therapy ever worked on humans and BLUE had it work in 4 beta thal patients LMAO that alone proves your ignorance is of the highest order. Thats again why BLUE made the jump from $17 to $196 in 1 year but of course you wouldn't even comment on that right? Sure all companies working on mice attain a $5B valuation right? LOL

Thing is, tradesman wouldn't be a bad poster here and could definitely add a different perspective, but he just comes off as Billy Mays.

And telling me my posting style doesn't make me come off as a scientist (inarticulate and ineloquent) when he is missing everyone's point, calling everyone small minded and ignoring all rules of grammar!

Here's the deal... "intelligent bio guys" and "real scientists" know science, not investing. There's a big difference between knowing the science and knowing the industry, and just because you know both doesn't mean every scientist does. You can have the best product in the world and still not make money with it, so until the money starts rolling in it is simply speculation. Granted, there is a lot of money to be made in speculation (apparently you have made some), but it is still very risky. And as you've noticed, this board is pretty risk-averse.
