Great news. It's almost funny for me personally that I have a BITX volatility trade where I want to sell BITX when Bitcoin rises above $119.9K. I opened my trade two days ago when Bitcoin was at $116.9K. For two days in a row, Bitcoin was just under $119.9K at market close only to break $120K shortly after the close. Perhaps Bitcoin will run up and remain over $120K at market open. I might even make a good bit more on this trade if Bitcoin wants to take off. Or if Bitcoin plummets, karma has been messing with me by almost reaching my sell trigger. Don't really care either way.

Here's an interesting article about a new catalyst for Bitcoin. Demand for Bitcoin just keeps getting more avenues for new Bitcoin investments.

I’ve been buying coins on Coinbase and moonshot for about 4 years. I’ve never bought anything outside of these apps but XDC has caught my attention. I’m wondering what the best way to buy this would be. I tried bitstamp but couldn’t get it on there.

Coin Gecko has all exchanges listed. Bybit and KuCoin would probably the two I would consider.

ETH is still running strong today. A pullback would be expected, but who knows. A supply shock is incoming.

CNBC is basically crypto tv this week. The problem is very few of them have any idea what they’re talking about. It’s kind of irresponsible to their viewing public to be this uninformed.

LINK was my “lock of the cycle” alt coin when I was divvying up my portfolio a couple years ago.

Tokenomics suck but there was enough noise regarding what it does if TradFi gets more involved with crypto.

It’s crazy what all has been accomplished since winning a damn POC and presenting at Sibos in 2017. It’s been a long ride but hopefully the damn coin decides to pump to infinity. If you would have told me in 2017 Sergey was shaking hands with Trump and shaping global finance I would have thought the coin prices would be $200+ by now and it’s a top 5 crypto

That was my point about Bitcoin not being at a top yet and I expect to see Bitcoin hit $200K or higher this year.

Question for the better educated than myself. I know the big picture 4 year cycle has pretty much held steady from inception up til now.

-There's a halving event
-A year or so later, roughly December (of 2013, 2017, 2021) it's an an ATH. Or if not an ATH, very very high compared to a year prior.
-A year or so after that a bear market takes it way back down to a much lower value

If all that still holds, since we had a 2024 halving we'd be looking at later this year in 2025 of reaching incredible highs which is right in line with what you've suggested. Assuming all of the above still holds to the pattern, do we think that fall/winter of 2026 we'll be back down low again? Or are we at the point now with public adoption and institutions that that part of things has gone out the window?

The precedent is late 2026/mid 2027 will be “winter” with big dips.

It’s possible and even plausible that the institutional demand will keep the troughs from being as impressive.

Bit of a double edged sword since it means there is less money to be made if you hunt out these lows.

I took some profits off my leveraged ETH ETF and I'm regretting it now. ETH is just getting started.

The rally could definitely go on longer but I think we’re at a price point where I’d start getting nervous about long term bag holders dumping on me. Holding ETH the last few years hasn’t been pleasant and there will be some serious rotation as this rally continues.

An argument against that would be there are buyers this time. SER's and ETFs are gobbling up ETH. Bag holders have had a couple chances in the past year to get out.

Still, profit taking is smart. Don't ever regret it. Make a plan and stick to it.
