Good enough for your purposes, but I think BB cuts too "American" style. Way too baggy.
They need a lot of tailoring

Love their shirts. Don't like their suits, but that's personal choice.
Best suit I ever bought was from Men's Wearhouse...went out of town, forgot my suit, had to hit a shopping all at 5PM, and that suit lasted me for years.

Brooks Brothers makes solid suits....get a two button, 3 button was a 1990s mistake.
The 1990's version of the 3 button was a mistake, but the 1960's version of the 3 button is a classic look.

I don't even...

Try out this book. When I was in business school in the early eighties this guy came and spoke. LINK
Basically gray or navy, white shirt, lace up traditional black, cordovan or dark brown shoes (Floreshiem Imperials LINKwere the standard back in the day
think Johnson Murphy) burgundy tie.
I don't wear a suit, sometimes I wear jeans but I do wish dress would go back to a more formal style.

I like them, but I think they are often overpriced.
Check what kind of sale Macy's has going on or Men's Warehouse. If it's your only suit, get a solid grey.

I don't agree with the center vent. I am indifferent on vent type.
Also disagree with the lace up comment. I have a pair of Magnanni horse bits that look terrific with a suit.
