I've been telling a friend to switch from PNC to a smaller local bank for two weeks.

So does this essentially mean if you have an SBA loan number you will be funded?

dont be confused by the bank assigning you a case#. The sba loan # is the only one that matters.

If banks are hard to get through someone suggested me to create an account with Square and apply for the loan with them.

Getting So annoyed.
Application 1 put in weeks ago with BoA. Last week they said they have done their part and will submit when opens up. Nothing yet.
Application 2 through the link va buckeye posted - nothing yet feedback wise.
Application three through citizens (not LA one).... waiting their internal approval.
Craziness.

Went with chase first go round.. didn’t get anywhere. Was recommended to use citizens bank & trust last week along with Investar. Both were very responsive. Got approved today though Citizen's..

I just wanted to thank those who have been helping everyone with this. You guys are good people! Thank you salty, but did not have to use your rec, but appreciated it. I got my loan number and approval about an hour ago through Fidelity. The guys over there were awesome and after working through the glitches and getting new software pushed it through quick.

Got loan docs from Regions early this afternoon. I was quite surprised as that was my original application from round 1, and I opened an account at a smaller community bank to submit a PPP loan app with them, and I also applied through a credit union after round 1 funding was exhausted. But Regions ended up getting the job done.

I got $1000 EIDL advance and a few days later one generic email saying some BS. That's it. I applied literally seconds after the portal opened. I actually applied before it was opened and then reapplied so I could get the "up to $10,000 advance."
I'm beginning to wonder whether EIDL actually exists any more.

No email. Banker called and said it was approved by SBA. He didn’t have ETRAN # available as another department is actually entering the apps in...should know more tomorrow.
