Same, missed the opening when it was time to strike. Site crashes should not be acceptable in 2024.

If you are logging in to panic sell, it is probably doing you a favor.

This is fricked. I switched to Schwab from Robinhood cause of their games. Disappointing.

I finally got on Vanguard. I bought some 3 yr Agencies. Vanguard has limited inventory on bonds. Apparently peeps are buying them like crazy this morning so dealers are limiting trades.

Its not just them.

This is how they control the falling price long enough to protect the big investors to get the best price before it fall further and opened up to the masses for their selling.

They are doing a pretty poor job, since the market has mostly gone up since opening bell and most have been able to login by now

No I am just saying, whenever these things happen, they pause the market indirectly by having all these web trading companies go down.

Mine says:
"We're unable to authorize your access."

It should say:
"We don't have adequate servers to let you access your account."

BAD look for Schwab. And no, I'm not trying to trade today.

If it was one institution I would be less skeptical, but I think you’re spot on. Basically, large institutions will take profits and close out positions due to impacts from Japan market meltdown and Buffett’s AAPL sales and when retail traders finally get to log on later today or tomorrow the market will have rallied and Wall Street will sell you some of those same stocks at much higher prices.

Oh, hahaha sorry. That was one of my family member's name, I never associate it with the gov't agency. :-)
