re: Spec Play - HGRAF

I ask because I am trying to research who HydroGraph could potentially be in discussions regarding the direct acetylene pipeline. I reviewed the permit applications on the Texas Commission of Environmental Quality (TCEQ) website to identify any permit applications for process expansions. I am not sure if any of these companies produce acetylene, however they were identified as processing natural gas in some fashion. I identified: Oxy USA Seminole Gas Processing Plant, Targa Midstream Services - Mont Belvieu facility, Centauri Technologies Pasadena facility with significant air emission increases that could potentially indicate some involvement with HydroGraph's plant. I am unsure if any of these facilities have any connection, however both Targa and Oxy appear to be going through fairly large expansion projects. It is also possible that anyone associated with HydroGraph's Houston facility has yet to submit an application.
It appears the primary acetylene producers in the Houston area are: Western International Gas and Cylinders in Bellville, Air Gas facility in The Woodlands and Air Liquide ASU Plant in Longview.
Any input anyone from the Houston area could provide would be greatly appreciated!

I know for sure Oxy has been in the process of a big expansion this past year. I'm unsure of what that expansion is for though
Here's an article about the Oxy Expansion

We just quoted a decent job for Targa in Mont Belvieu to install a big 3000LF pipeline down to a brine pond. Not sure if that has anything to do with HydroGraph possibly.

TCEQ Central Registry
I've done a search query for "Hydrograph" on TCEQ site and came up empty.
Either they have not submitted anything, or filings are not in their name.

Thank you Dock!
I could not find it either when I searched, I resulted to searching through every application. I assume as you suggested the application has been made in another name, or they are working through comments from the regulator.
When I could not find anything that way I decided to look for any possible expansion applications that could be associated with acetylene. The applications I listed above are the hyperlinks to their respective project Statement of Basis summaries.

Why is HGRAF showing up as N/A in my Schwab account today?
Posted on 9/26/25 at 9:16 am to TheBoo
Fine for me on Fidelity. Just bought 100 shares to be sure. The trade went through.

So I have 500 shares of HGRAF b/c of this thread. It's my first time ever buying a stock and I can afford to lose it.
I have about $5k more I could use to buy this but losing that would be a much harder pill to swallow.
Are we thinking this stock has some potential? I keep waiting for reports or any news really, but nothing. I don't know if I should throw that $5k on NBIS or go all in on HGRAF.
What advice would y'all give to a first time investor?

$4000 on NBIS today while it’s down.
$1000 on HGRAf
That’s the safest plan, IMO
NBIS is a lot lower risk and tons of potential.
HGAF has higher risk and higher potential.
But, taking advice from me is probably not a smart move.

So many variables to this. You really need to develop what your strategy will be. Do you want to buy and hold long term, or do you want to attempt to take advantage of volatility and swing trade?
Personally when I find something that peaks my interest, I decide how much I want to buy and take a 1/3 of that total and use that to establish my entry position. I then spend two or three months watching the movement and make a decision on what I am comfortable adding in at. Sometimes those prices never come and that is ok. I keep a list of companies I am interested in and shift my attention between them. Try to stay away from the "fear of missing out" trap. Reflex buying can be very dangerous.
I believe in HydroGraph and it is a long term hold for me (5 to 10 years). I also admit that it is very early and there will be a tremendous amount of volatility until their primary production facility gets online and the EPA finalizes the TSCA review. Keep this all in mind as you add to your entry position, be patient and careful.

I was planning on long term hold as well. I'm not looking to "get rich quick" by any means. I may take the approach mentioned to throw some at NBIS and some at HGRAF

I look at it as a long term play and one is significantly cheaper so I'm stocking up on that one (HGRAF).

I bought all I'm going to buy, unless something changes, and plan to hold for the long term, unless something changes.
I just have a feeling this is an acquisition play, although that would not be the worst thing that could happen...
I'm at the car wash and saw a sign on the side of the building that said, "Got Graphene?".

Any plans to use graphene in vaccines?

FWIW, below is a link to a video of a very brief (4 minutes and 21 seconds in length) interview of Kjirstin Breure while she was at the GCFF VAN Annual Wealth Conference 2025 (that was held last Saturday, September 20th), where she gave a presentation that apparently was available only for those persons who attended the Conference.
