If you think car prices are high now, wait until they're mostly built by UAW

So.....a US-based automaker chooses to build cars in other countries, then import them back into the US? Sounds like the tariffs are just what was needed! Offshoring American jobs then selling the product back to Americans.
It is the Progressive/Democrat way. Create Tarriffs on US companies via Environmental Regs, Unions, DEI/HR, Safety etc etc then ship those jobs to countries who couldn't give a rip about any of that.

The largest U.S. automaker

This is what the tariffs are supposed to fix, and what killed the Midwest Auto Corridor in the US.
General Motors (GM) imports a variety of vehicles into the United States, primarily from South Korea, Mexico, and Canada. A significant portion of GM's sales in the US, including many of its more affordable models, are built abroad. Specifically, GM imports vehicles like the Chevrolet Trax, Buick Envista, and Chevrolet Trailblazer, which are manufactured in South Korea. Additionally, GM imports a large number of vehicles from Mexico and Canada, including popular models like the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra. GM also has a premium import business, The Durant Guild, which previously focused on importing certain iconic vehicles from the US to China, but this business has recently been restructured

That’s going to suck. I guess they can make it all back with an AT4 being $94,000.
Sell a bunch of those overpriced trucks and you’ll pay the tariff.
Let’s not act like GM and every other car manufacture didn’t take advantage of the American public during Covid.
