Held for the longest. Got out. Should I get back in? Thoughts on the stock

Why did you get out and what has changed from when you got out til now?

It went down for about a year. 200 point drop. Jim Cramer is saying now is the time to get back in and the stock is a buy

Costco is a buy and hold stock in my portfolio

Just buy the index. If your stock picks are based on nothing but Jim Cramer and message board suggestions, do you really think you're armed to beat the pros?

Inverse Cramer does well.
Cramer is entertaining but I wouldn’t take stock advice from him.

I've held Costco for a very long time. Stock is historically overpriced based on metrics like PE, but it's the best run business in the USA.
Obviously retail is tough, but I don't see any reasons to sell anytime soon.
When they start hiring MBA types for CEO is when I will sell

Yes, I look at the hot dog and soda metric. If they keep it locked in. I never see the place empty by me

I’ve bought excellent core stocks and ETF based solely on this boards advice. Visa is one of them.

Costco and Visa have been part of my core portfolio for decades now

Walmart kicked Costco's butt this last year, as Costco finished about flat.
Nice to see a good bump today. I'm holding for the time being.
