Your marginal income tax bracket is at least 22%, so keep that in mind if you’re not maxing out employer retirement plans yet. The immediate tax savings now vs unknown future taxes is a bit of a problem, but still worth discussing.

PAID OFF THIS MORNING!!!!!
Missed my estimate by a few months but during that time we also managed to buy another house and turn my first home into a cash flowing rental.
Not a lick of debt beyond the mortgage(s)

& paid off her car
& doubled our emergency fund to meet 6 months expenses covering both house notes and our general expenses.
I am just beyond proud of me and my wife for putting our noses down and knocking that shite out! Yeah probably missed some big gains in the market, but idgaf, this feels like freedom!!

I'll go ahead and say this... I seems like a lot of younger people are having issues having kids these days, or really the older you get the harder it is to have them.
Don't be afraid to start sooner incase you have issues.
