What bank stocks are you guys eying to pluck?

I scooped NYCB on Mon and Tues and it has a 10.5% divvy. It’s working out well so far. Just in case, I set a stop loss.

Did you pick those up on Monday, or at least SCHW? Either way, I’d say those are good longer term choices - especially Schwab if you got it while the herd was stampeding.
I haven’t added shares (yet), but I do have some short $10 puts on HBAN that expire on 3/17. If I get assigned there, it’ll just lower my cost basis on a long term hold I’ve had for awhile. Nice div. too.

I bought a lot, mostly small positions, with the exception of nycb, truist and Schwab which I put a bit more money in to.

Same here, on a tip from the Money Board. Up 7% today when otherwise it was reds....reds everywhere.

The trade takes two days to settle. You could have bought SCHW on 3/13 and still had a day of room to settle it with the treasury proceeds.
I’m in on SCHW at $51 and WAL at $26.
