The practice facility does leave a little to be desired. I am a pass holder out there and for the money its the best deal in town. Sucks having the course shut down for 2 wks but next week I might play every day.

Im a fan of English Turn. Always enjoyed watching the tournament out there.

oh and JD is -1 thru 9.

yep, I used to have a pass out there but they kept trying to charge me to walk the course. SO, they got a big from me and now I play out at the Turn which is a great golf course

And glad to see Daly got some birdies in, unlike my boy Sergio who's playing crappy. again.

Yea, for $2000, that's easily the best "membership" deal you'll find, especially with no initiation fee. I'm surprised you guys don't like the practice facility. I've seen it and used it on the occasions that I've played out there and thought it was nice. What places around have a better practice facility than TPC that are accessible (don't say English Turn because you can't even become a member there without knowing someone)?

I know that about NOCC and Metairie too, but I thought the Turn was the same way. If I so choose, I can call up English Turn, pay the initiation fee and become a member?

Whats you alls best score at ET. Mine was 79 from the tips. Birdied 18, although the tees were moved up.

Well you posted earlier that you played in the mid-am, so I can only assume you're a pretty good player. Where's your home course?

As for the ET thing, I have a few rounds in the low 70s but nothing in the 60s out there....YET

believe it or not, enough people bitched and now they are letting you walk. 5 for 9 and $10 for $18. they also just dropped the cart fee from 25 to 18!

all that being said, the staff out there are complete assholes.

and 73 at the Turn for me!
