The coaching advantage and Mendoza being better than Burrow would give IU the advantage.

mendoza 30 td's away from catching burrow and 3000 yards away.

Indiana is built like Bama from 2009-15. That’s why they’re dominating everyone. Ohio State 24’ vs Indiana 25’ would be interesting, especially the playoff versions.

Almost like that team was so good it didn’t matter who was the head coach.

If were being honest, LSU is 4th on that list. Once again, their head coach is O and they had the worst D from that group

If they beat Miami. Definitely top three, if not number one.

Scoring 42 points per game, even through the playoffs
Allowing 10.5 per game

Schedules are definitely comparable.

No, they are not. There are no GREAT teams in CFB now. NIL (and the portal) has leveled the playing field and instilled a lot of parity in CFB. What you are seeing is GOOD teams with 1 REALLY GOOD team.

Indiana is VERY good…..but LSU was THE ALL TIME great team. LSU would absolutely dog walk them.

The game is fun to watch now, but the parody has also brought down the top teams to what average was years ago.

Indiana beat 3 top 10 teams and 2 of them were Oregon.

compare reg season clown.

INDy cannot get all this credit for extra playoffs when LSU did not get a 12 teamer.

They were playing a different game.
A game in which it’s far more difficult to be dominant, and yet here is 2025 Indiana doing it….

Umm, being forced to play extra games kinda makes it more difficult

And it’s one additional playoff game mastermind

Somebody came out with a hypothetical line for it the other day I saw.

2019 LSU would have been favored -8.5

the level of competition and talent is so much worse in the NIL pay for play era. The on the field product is bad in this era

Mendoza has 3000 less yards than burrow and 30 less td's
